I can’t recall from previous years, but do Apple charge when you reserve for in-store pick up? I want to buy it on Apple payments when i go in next week, but obviously don’t want to be charged upfront.

ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...you obviously have money to burn!

:eek::eek:
No but it’s got unlimited data which is £34 usually so £99 for the phone and data isn’t bad considering I cancelled my home broadband which was costing me £40 pm.

99 is a good deal for the 256gb Max unlimited data

On live chat with EE and was told iPhone 11 64gb would be £50 upfront and £51.50pm for unlimited calls/texts and 30gb of data or its £56.50 for the same on a smart plan
Pretty much in line with expectation. My 20% discount will knock off £10. Fingers crossed the Max will be just under £60 after discount.

I cancelled my home broadband which was costing me £40 a month so that’s £969 over 2 years

I only use my EE 4g for internet now which is why I pre ordered unlimited data(actually it’s fair use of 1000Gb) and the data would usually be £34 a month

So I’m only paying around £1400 for the iPhone 11 pro max 256gb which isn’t that bad since it’s a monthly deal

I get the idea of cancelling home broadband and using that instead. Just two things though, surely you know someone who could have got you the 20% off student discount code, there is £480 saved over 2 years. Also the phone is costing about £52 per month and the rest is the data contract, I know it's unlimited but that still a lot, you can get it much cheaper. I'd honestly be prepared to cancel that and look around when the prices do come out. If they are no cheaper than your fine. If they are then you save some cash.
