Amazon seem to be starting to sell iPhone 12’s again.

What if the pricing error is one big PR stunt to try and get people to go on Amazon for further releases instead of Apple? Obviously that would mean they’d need to honour the purchase this year but I’d be alright with that ;) Or am I just dreaming?

Hopefully if they do honour it they have a similar screw up with the Pro Max’s 😊

Sadly I'm fairly sure Amazon won't honour it. This is in their terms:

"Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced. We will verify pricing when processing your order and before we take payment. If we have made a mistake and a product's correct price is higher than the price on the website, we may either contact you before dispatch to request whether you want to buy the product at the correct price or cancel your order. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and send you the product."

Last year I got an iPhone 11 Pro with EE, so I still have a year left of my contract. I want to go back to sim only eventually so purchased the iPhone 12 Pro from Apple.

My EE plan is 4G only, so thought I'd call them and see what the damage would be to upgrade to 5G... it was £8 extra per month, however I've gone from 100GB data to unlimited 5G data and it now includes an extra perk (I chose Apple Music), so I'm now £2 better off each month, with unlimited data and 5G.

My plan end date stayed the same (Sep 2021) which is when I'll then switch to sim-only. Can't stand these huge monthly payments.

Right, my multiple unwanted pickup orders moved to processing, so I could cancel two of them. I won’t be using the App next year!

Now to see if Amazon cancel the mispriced 256gb Pros 😂

But who says they’ve even noticed?

On the note of screen protectors and cases. I swear by these: I always get the thin clear ESR case from Amazon and this year trying the screen protectors too as they fully cover the notch. I’ve had the same case for the full year and serves me well. Also very affordable got 20-30% coupons off as well atm. Check out the brand! ESR. I’ve also had the cables from them too.

I usually go for the Belkin ones to however they are very pricey and yes I know they last long and they are great but just need something a bit more affordable this year. And to be honest most screen protector brands now have an alignment frame that comes with it
Ordered the case - 30% off too so £5.59! thanks

Does anyone know how long you have to send your phone to Music Magpie?

I got £630 for my iPhone 11 Pro 256GB last Tuesday, hoping to not have to post my old phone until the end of next week when the 12 is delivered...

I ordered another one from Currys in case Apple order messed up for launch day store pick up.

Anyone has experience with launch day delivery by Currys? Do they normally hit the delivery target in launch day?
Currys was perfectly fine for me last year with the 11 pro! Was also very happy when they allowed me to later exchange it for a different colour

They only honour prices for 2 weeks, so they may adjust it to what they’re offering at the time

they had an offer this week for 21 days; I would open a chat with them and ask.

I will either have the 12 pro from Apple on Friday or hopefully I'll get the £849 256GB one from Amazon.

Has to be fully processed by them by day 21. You should have time for posting/their internal testing

Could be slightly different this year with all these Covid *****

Yes, it is not available before appointed slot.

had an email this week from them stating 21 days + £20 extra. That's why I said that it would worth checking through chat with them (and save the relevant chat)

That would be very lucky. I think I did my order last Monday and although I got the extra £20 I definitely only got 14 days. Gonna have to post on Friday and hope for the best.

Preparing for shipment too, smooth process.

Re. screen protectors, I also vouch for ESR. LK do cheap but excellent tempered glass ones via Amazon with 3/4 in one pack. Couple of more expensive recommendations include Power Support and IntelliArmor in the US.

It's a military planned installation process - I only take off the plastic from the iPhone screen when I'm about to put the protector on!
