Didn't Currys let people down badly last year?

I’ve managed to grab one from Apple pre-order but only store collect for launch day. Preferred delivery as working on 23rd. Tried to scramble around and see whether can grab one from delivery. Worst come to worst, I may need to cancel Currys if they cannot make it.

I don’t remember curry’s being too bad I know Argos on the other hand are quite bad at tracking so you don’t know you‘re getting it until there is a knock on the door And Argos normally uses yodel so :/

So far with all experiences of Yodel, Hermes, DPD, I found DPD to be pretty nifty with their one hour slot and near real-time tracking. I am not sure which carrier Currys use tho.

Yes, that’s for sure. Apple only use best carrier.
You can have a cuppa and be peace of mind while waiting your slot.

RM / PF always deliver packages in the morning for me, sometimes too early.

Don’t quite like the cut-out Screen protector from Belkin but they are affiliate so I am a bit hopeful that they’d know the nearest screen shape for this year 12 series screen. Guess round edge is changing shape into flatter screen edge with this model.

...I think I’m gonna have to call EE tomorrow as they only offered me 20GB with Unlimited calls and texts for £20. Judging by some of the great deals posted on here over the past 10 pages or so (100/200gb for slightly more £) - think I’m getting ripped off!!!

Im gonna buy one of these on Friday when I collect my phone - they can install these in store using their special Apple contraption!

my ESR screen protector arrives tomorrow, hope it does well.

ESR is quite a good one too. I just don’t trust my installation skill as getting poor eyesight lately.

There are a lot of options to choose from the time compared to iPhone 4,5 era. Back in the day, power support seems like only solid provider on accessories like case and SP.

I’ve spoken to Argos who advised tracking will be updated a day before. Whoever ordered with Argos it might be worth using the live chat and asking the scheduled date for your delivery

I would assume they will reopen the pre approval before the Pro Max release. Probably only about a week before but long enough that people can get on and get it sorted.

If they’re not very busy I don’t see why not - but it’s bound to be very busy so I would expect to be told to come back at 9:45am. If you made up some sob story they might make an exception for you.
