The last few phones I’ve stuck skins on to help deal with them being on the slippy side due to the rounded edges - before that I was always naked. Now we’re going back to flat edges then maybe I’ll go back to going naked. Or I may still stick a skin on it

I’m actually considering to use a clear skin on my 12 Pro Max and 1 case to see which I like better.

To me, the pictures of the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 show the edges as curved, so essentially, the same curved designs of the current iPhones:

But, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max both have flat straight edges (with a clear definition between the rear of the phone and the sides) :

....can I REALLY put myself through another TWO year's worth of IUP payments?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, as fate would have it, I am NOT working this Friday AND I will be in Bromley shopping centre, right where there is an Apple Store, on a lunch date with the Mrs!

I don’t think it would bother me whether the edges of my new phone were curved or straight. It goes in a case anyway.

Would you be in this thread right now if you DIDN'T want to put yourself through two years of IUP payments? ;)

Compare with rear shots of the 11. The difference is huge. 12 mini and 12 gets straight edges, I think we just get confused by 12 Pro's material usage

I have tried 3 times to get approved for IUP in the past (getting a Barclays Mortgage was easier!!) think this year will just buy it outright rather than any credit agreement.

To be honest I think that’s the best route to go considering the iPhone 12 is being released later than September that everybody is used to.

3 attempts at different times? Ever got approved?

Never got approved with the iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone 11 Pro Max so I gave up in the end!

I even said to the apple guy I have a Barclays mortgage, Barclays Bank account, Barclaycard credit card, never missed a single payment and still the computer says no!

Maybe I need some gold bullion or shares in mars to qualify.

Brought a S20 back in March on the Samsung Upgrade Program.... click.. fill details, click.. approved... phone in hand.

Are you all trying to kid yourself by saying the blue is nice? don't get me wrong it looks nice but its identical to the current green they have 😂 From that photo anyway.

Will be going for the silver (white) again as looks best with the chrome edges IMO, always have it in a case either way so the white camera looks nice with the black apple leather case...tempted to go back to the saddle brown this year though..

BPF are notoriously hard to get accepted for

The blue IS nice. Pointless buying a coloured iPhone to then put it in a leather case anyway, imo

I used to buy skins rather than cases when phones used to be cheaper around £499 now I am not sure I would risk any phone without a case.

Another reason I go for the silver as it has the Chrome edges which you can see at the bottom of the case that isn't covered. I think they should all have the chrome edges really, looks much more high end

See I think I prefer brushed aluminium type sides, the chrome scratches too easy

I tried it for the X and got declined, similar financial situation to you...
Very bizarre it’s so hard to get approved!!
