If, worst case, there's a 2 week nationwide lockdown starting on the 24th October (a.k.a. the circuit breaker), wouldn't that put that right at the beginning of in-store collections for IUP customers picking up the 12 Pro and 12's?

I'm aiming to move my IUP account to a 12 Pro Max in November, but don't feel particularly keen going in-store for collections when a good few people will do the same during launch weekend. Just doesn't feel right that (presumably) Barclays is insisting that credit checks for IUP is done in-store.

The in store requirement for IUP is a showstopper for me, I do not need a new phone enough to make me go through all the hassle and risk of going in store to do it. It was painful enough last year with no pandemic.

I am half considering selling my pro max, settling the IUP and buying one outright but I am actually leaning towards just not bothering.

Last year my alloted time was not at all accurate, I popped in during my lunchbreak and had to abort and rebook for the next evening and even then I was over an hour later than the booked slot
I was lucky that my slot was well catered for, even though it took over 40 mins waiting.

Gonna order a blue mini from very as they sent me a code for £50 off
Just hope it works against it when it’s available on there site :D

I need to buy a new plug as mine is

old worn and wobbles abit, do I just need a iPhone standard one or do I have to get the watch one where the metal bits fold into the plug?

any help guys let me know

Ta!

Well, I’m ready...

I got my quote for my iPhone 11 from MusicMagpie well in advance (£399.50 + an extra 10% provided I get it to them by the 31st! It’s already gone down to £272 😁)...

And I’ll be early-upgrading with EE, probably on the Full Works plan because why not 🤷🏻‍♂️ (Green, 128GB iPhone 12)

Can anyone answer me this, based on previous years? Thanks!
  1. Will it be available as an upgrade option at the same time pre-orders start on Friday?
  2. Does the delivery address have to be the same as the billing address? I’m working on the 23rd, so if possible I’ll get it delivered to work. (Or failing that, do they let you choose a different delivery day so you don’t have to chase it with the courier?)

1) Yes - make sure you call and do not order over the internet
2) No, not for an upgrade, you can get it delivered to work

Here’s the latest plug, and it will give you fast charging (20w).

Bought this ages ago for fast charging.

....don't know who is 'the best' but what I do know is that for me, EE are a thousand times better (coverage wise) than O2.

You can always count on O2 to also mess up pre-orders - happens each and every year without fail!!
EE and three are the best here

Anyone seen the colours of the Pro yet? Apple's website shots are pretty poor tbh. I'm torn between the 12 and 12 pro and the big thing for me is the stainless steel bands going to be scratch magnets.
Fwiw, my silver iPhone X picked up loads of hairline scratches on the steel band, but my Midnight Green 11 Pro has none. I think whatever it’s coated with is pretty resilient to light scratches (although probably not deeper ones, and then they can’t be polished out).

I love the look of the shiny silver but enjoy how durable my green one has been, so will probably go for blue this year.

50p is 50p!

More so when EE have the new scandalous policy of annual increases of CPI + 3.9% !!!!

Then vote with your feet and go to a far inferior network?

£1.50 for posting out because I can’t get into MyEE account to do digital, which is their fault.

Then call them and explain, I am sure they can send the QR code and charge you 50p or give it for free pal.

Inferior, oh please.
Do you work for BT or own shares?

The fact they choose to charge 50p for a digital download is disgusting!

Anyone who has the mindset of it being 'only 50p' is exactly why we have this type of behaviour.
I'm sure the BT group are very forgiving to customers in debt for a few pence, since it's only 50p afterall...

I had nothing but trouble accessing my EE account online - no one knew how to fix it, escalted to exec relations who admitted it was a "known issue" so let me leave without penalty. Their cs was pants.

Hit a nerve have I pal? Any issues take them up with EE. If you are with EE then I would suggest (for your own sanity) you get a PAC and get outa there, if you are with anyone else then I am sure EE will miss not having your custom, especially when 50p means so much to you

Dont get me wrong I have had problems with EE, but when it comes to network coverage they are second to none.

Unsurprisingly, I will cave in and get a 12 Pro Graphite... If the Blue was darker, might have considered it.
Told myself lack of 120hz would be a no go, and not happy with the camera disparity to the Pro Max, but overall camera improvements, flat edge design and extra screen size have made me take the plunge.

Question regarding monthly payments (not iup) and AppleCare+: if I decide to pay the loan off early to sell the phone, will I also get a refund on unused/remaining AppleCare+, as I believe would happen if I did the same thing with iup?

This is the same as me but I prefer the blue and likewise annoyed that the Pro Max has better camera's still and no 120hz but if I got the 6.1 Max I know I would be thinking.... should of got the pro... should of got the pro.
