yeah hopefully, Currys have been quiet since sending a tracking info for the XSX -by tomorrow i will be going mad if there is no movement on it! i have a bad feeling it wont arrive on time. Ironically havent bought any preorders of games as i thought id get some in the supermarkets slightly cheaper. Really want to go digital but things like Assassins creed valhalla are stupid expensive on digital. I still dont understand why games are so expensive digitally

You should have got an email already from Argos. They are delivering via DPD and to expect tracking info for the 10th.
Yes I got an email from Argos last Tuesday to that affect but mine is being delivered by DHL. I would have preferred DPD but hopefully DHL will be reliable. There should be someone home to accept delivery so there shouldn’t be a problem unless either Argos or DHL mess up.
I’ve had no email but was told on a chat that I should have something today and it was being delivered by UK Mail.
Hate to be the barer off bad news but I very much doubt you’ll get launch day delivery. I had the same issue upgrading to the standard 12 for launch.
The availability you see on their website if for new customers only and not for existing.
All their upgrade customers have a 4 week delivery time which is stated in the smallest of small print on their website home page right near the bottom.
I didn’t find this until after I sold my XR and had like you in writing about the delivery.
They then tried to blame Apple and said they didn’t get the stock they were expecting but basically they just keep it to give out to customers starting nee contracts.
I cancelled my upgrade and left three as they sent me on a wild goose chase after this after lying about cancelling my upgrade and stating I could upgrade in store
Yea I also have my doubts about Argos. I preordered the 12 pro from them when it went live at 13:00 and they kept telling stories when they missed the delivery date. After a couple of days of waiting I got lucky and found one on the apple store early morning & cancelled my Argos order.
My shipping address on Apple Store seems to have not got my road name - but it is complete on the billing address - is this an error or should I try to contact customer support?

That is a bit concerning. I’m hoping it’s not the same with the consoles. That said from my unscientific observation the console releases are not as big as the iPhone release with a lot more people wanting a new phone. Hopefully this will mean no mess up on Argos’ part. I will see if I can then today and see what they say.
