I’m not sure if it’s already been mentioned, but those with upgrade orders on EE missing order numbers and e-mails etc. If you login to the My EE app and select the “What’s New” tab, you’ll find a “track your order” link.

In the past when I’ve ordered from EE and hasn’t received any correspondence, I was able to obtain all the info this way. 😊
 
i got the pre approved Barclays finance. I tried ordering at 1pm on Friday but took about 20 minutes to get right through the process, by which time my delivery had slipped to 18th. I am ok with the date but i havent had any text messages from Barclays and my order still says ‘processing items’- should i be worried?

I think you will get the texts/emails when the order says “preparing to ship” as thats when apple usually “charges you”

Thanks, didn’t work for me though
 
Talking of passing the time, I am still dubious about the size and weight of the new Pro Max and think it might be a little too much but I hope i am wrong.
Does anyone know if online orders can be returned to the Apple stores?
On another note, we have the "Just one more thing" event tomorrow which i hope will be "Just several more things". So as well as Macs, hopefully AirTags and maybe the Studios. The MagSafe Duo might appear on the Apple store too :)

Yes you can return web orders to bricks and mortar!!

I’m fine with everyone discussing consoles too.
Although I’m well out of date on them these days, seems like there is a lot more demand now than back on the PS3 launch.
I remember the kids wanting a Wii and someone had mentioned Game having stock. As I walked in there was a big sign saying they had sold out, spoke to the guys about ordering one and they mentioned it was PS3 launch day and they had plenty of those. Walked out with a toy for myself 😂
Totally skipped the PS4 era, though I do kind of miss gaming and will probably jump back in next year.

I have the PS4 and PSVR. I will complete the games that i currently have before considering PS5. I want to see what PSVR 2 looks like before purchasing a PS5

I’ve never understood the whole VR gaming thing.
Tried a mate’s Vive and wasn’t really impressed. But then I did grow up with sonic the hedgehog as the pinnacle of gaming excellence 😂

same as a lot of us, my email confirmation came through at 13:06 on the 6th November, used Barclays Finance (pre approved earlier in the week) and still says processing but Arrives 13th November.

I am waiting for airtag. Just a small thought whether I could tag my car

I had so many issues during order process 1.02PM. in the end i orderd through amazon at 1.20pm.

After 8 hours or so I got a email from Apple and barclays confirming the order. My order status is showing "preparing to ship" now.

I have had emails from barclays after the order and also multiple text messages to confirm the order and survery etc from barclays.

I have 2 phones on order but will cancel the amazon one on Thursday as Apple status should change to shipped.

I would recommend you call barclays if you've not had any of the above.

On the eSIM front, I requested a replacement via MyEE on their website yesterday - making sure I chose the option for it being for a new/replacement phone. It's cost me £1.50 on my next bill with it coming via post (no choice unfortunately with the stores being closed).

Despite being told it would take 3-5 days to come through - the eSIM QR code has actually arrived through the door this morning. Massive surprise at how trouble free it's been this year!

Last two years have been really problematic getting hold of new eSIMS, usually resulting in a massive run around of several stores because they don't know what the heck i'm talking about!!

I must have hit lucky last year because I went on live chat and they said someone would call me. Ten minutes later I get a phone call from a U.K. call centre and the girl said I’ll pop an e-sim in the post for you. Was the easiest transaction ever.

apparantly already too late to cancel an order. App wouldn't let me on Friday, I forgot about it at the weekend and now CS are trying but can't promise anything. May have to reject it and wait for a refund. This is for a mini - have a preorder in at amazon so I want the christmas returns window which Apple haven't confirmed yet

Three are indicating that my Upgrade should be on track for Friday, but they cannot confirm as they don't have the tracking yet, as they don't launch until the 13th and that DPD will contact on day of delivery to confirm 🙄🙄
