I’m so gutted. I applied for monthly payments after the ‘get ready’ email and locked my choice of iPhone at monthly payments. I didn’t realise this wasn’t the iPhone upgrade programme! 😭 I’ve waited 3 years to get accepted by Barclays for the IUP and now all I’ve got is a stupid loan 😢 sooo disappointed
The upgrade programme is a 0% loan from Barclays, same thing

Lol, are you for real?
Someone voices a different opinion and you think you've hit a nerve.

I can't believe anyone is willing to defend let alone throw away 50p, well, because it's only 50p.
You'll make it as a millionaire in no time with that amazing attitude.

The more EE becomes BT the worse they seem to get, if you can’t see the principle here then never mind.

Businesses would never adapt or become competitive if all consumers bent over when asked.

So yes, losing customers through these dodgy tactics very much hurts a company, but BT have always failed to realise that look at broadband.

Yes for you maybe, not for everyone.

It wasn’t the fact you have a different opinion, it was the fact you suggested I had shares in BT and actually uttered the phrase ‘oh please’ like some petulant diva. So forgive me if I misunderstood your comment as coming across as though my comment had hit a nerve.

Everything you say is contradictory - you suggest I am willing to defend throwing away 50p yet you repeatedly defend not throwing away 50p - who is right and who is wrong here? To me, it’s only 50p, to you, it’s 50p. I don’t see myself as ‘bending over’ - I see it as 50p....FIFTY PENCE!! Let’s leave it at that.

For me, the more EE becomes BT the less I realise, that’s how little it means to me. And these tactics may seem ‘dodgy’ to you, but they don’t go against any law or regulation.

I for one will remain an EE customer. I’ve been with O2 previously and they were god awful. Not been with any of the others but judging by the comments they are equally as bad. And as you mentioned just because EE coverage has been second to none for me, if it hasn’t for you then as I said move to another network (or move address with all those 50p’s you’ve saved). I don’t bash the others continuously because I can’t get signal with them.

Whatever EE or BT have done you you to trigger you this much I think you need to get over it pal, move on

Just migrated to EE, as 3's reception is rubbish in my area.

How is it? Next year I have to trade my iPhone in at a loss or try to sell privately to upgrade. Completely different to handing it back for a new iPhone?
You can see it privately for more.

Hey guys,

I am currently with Vodafone and my contract is ending soon. Am thinking of switching to EE and wondering who has the better call quality / coverage for north London ish area.
I know EE has the better 4 / 5G speeds but call quality is important to me.

thanks

I've seen a few people say on here that ee has announced that they will be upgrading customers from 4g to 5g for free. Anyone got a link for this?

Anyone know if retailers other than Apple will be starting pre-orders at 1pm on 16th?
Whilst I'd rather order directly from Apple, I get corporate discount from the likes of Curries, Argos etc.
I got mine from Curry’s last year and unfortunately no I had to wait till release day to order but I did get it the day after so not too bad

Looks like I'm the only one here who is looking to buy a 12 mini 😊
Oh no you're not! I can't wait for a smaller phone. I have an iPad if I need a big display. My phone is a window through which I access things online, like podcasts, carplay, music and so on - I don't sit and use my phone like a tablet so it looks like the perfect size for me.

The IUP is not the same thing - you have to pay an up front fee to join this whereas on the Barclays scheme, you do not.
You also need to factor in AppleCare+ (with the iUP), another mandatory cost. On the plus side... you will some level of insurance in place.

Question....!!

So I have a locked in price for my XS from Apple which has reduced the monthly payments via Barclays and I have already gone through the pre-approval process.

What happens then when on the day of collection, I decide to keep my XS to sell privately - am I allowed to give a lump sum to Apple/Barclays on the day in order to reduce the payments instead of the XS (or is the trade in now locked in so I have to TRADE it in?)?

Wondering because a family member has just offered me a larger amount for the XS than Apple so now wondering how my trade in price will work if I keep the phone?!

Anybody have any answers to this? @Jinjin
