Other UK iPhone 12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max (2020) Orders and Dispatch Thread

So this evening I’ve bought 2 MagSafe cases (clear and Pink Citrus silicone for Gold Pro Max) from John Lewis who are selling at £39 (£10 off until 13/11) which may already have been mentioned. Another bonus is that they are now on extended Christmas returns so if I find I don’t use one (or indeed both) I have til January to get a refund. I notice Apple have the same for eligible items.
I have a clear £5.99 Spigen case coming tomorrow as a temporary case but hoping this case will be available for the Pro Max soon as have used for the X and 11 Pro.

Do you have a link? I’ve been checking John Lewis most days, but they only list the black and blue silicone cases for the 12 Pro max, both at £49 (no other colours). As far as I can see its only the regular 12 / 12 Pro cases which have in a variety of colours and the £10 discount?

Straight swap as per that link nearly all of them do it.
They send replacements via UPS in the UK.
Was told to remove tips and send them back in the same boxes etc...!
But they provided UPS plastic bags to put the boxes in and relevant labels!

Same here. Rather sad, but when I found out that the release date for 12 Mini was going to be 13/11, I immediately booked the 'day off', thinking that I would get the chance to collect in-store/have a screen protector fitted in store. In hindsight (further to latest lockdown restrictions), I need not have bothered booking the day off....but hey, at least I will be free to repeatedly refresh courier tracking details on Friday, without feeling guilty about neglecting work!

Sorry just really annoyed as mine got delayed due to the error placing order. Went through all the trouble to preauth and their website wouldnt take my order. I wouldnt usually care but just wanted to have it in time for my daughters birthday for photos. Plus its just nice having it first after youve spent ages trying to get it on time. I'll try be patient.. try. Mostly just worried as still only on processing and it just worries me.

All good here, mine is ‘preparing to ship’.
I did the pre-approval late Thu evening and kept smashing that order button a few minutes after the store went live the following day.
But stock was plentiful for the mini, loads available for 13 Nov delivery when I checked later on that day.
Of course if you a believe a post on the EE forums, someone isn’t getting theirs until Christmas or delivery pushed back 2 weeks.
I had confirmation on Monday, there’s no reason why it wouldn’t be here on Friday so that’s all we can go off, I guess!

I’ve taken the day off mainly because I was hoping for an in store pickup. Sadly that wasn’t an option and I had to choose home delivery. I’ve decided to keep my day off anyway.
Just found out a sad way to pretend your Magneto, when the MagSafe charger's plugged in and you use one hand to hold it only by the plastic cord and then draw a circle slowly on the back of the puck with a finger on your opposite hand you can feel the magnetic field faintly vibrating!!!
