I don’t really play mobile games, so I’m not sure, there’s likely others here who play games

I had the one month trial that finished a few weeks ago. I didn't really find anything that great and it certainly wasn't worth me spending £4.99/month on it.

Right, I have the 12 Pro in PB, was meant to have Max arrive today in same colour but got delayed to Monday (may be a blessing in disguise).

After seeing the gold one on YouTube, I think I’m gonna bin the PB and go for the gold. Anyone who has it, how does it look? I know the sides shine brightly and the back is like an off white colour. Has anyone else here decided to switch to gold colour from a different one?

I am on 12 pro PB and this is first time I wanna jump to pro max albeit big screen is not for me.
Mrs. grabbed Gold 12 Pro Max and it is like a gold bar but degree of subtlety is marvellous.

I did the quick transfer thing in the end where you scan the animation and it moves everything across including the watch. Somehow though all my Apple watch awards are not showing up. Any ideas?

Edited to add: my trends are showing up, my previous workouts are showing up just not my awards.

sort of......I have the Midnight Green 11 Pro which was sort of last years Pacific Blue. I struggled to decide last year between the green and silver and sort of regretted the green after a while as wanted a brighter phone. Though the green still looks very classy.

The gold max arrived today and it’s lovely. I’ve avoided gold for last few years as they been too pink or coppery but this is proper gold. Only other I would have gone for would be the silver as as I like the white back. I sort of wish the gold has the brighter white back but that would prob look too bling. I would describe back as being like the previous champagne gold. Wasn’t intentional but matches in again with my MacBook, Beats Studio headphones and my white and gold i am+ buttons earphones.

So got my iPhone 12 Max Pro. Was at work and left passport with wife incase DPD driver wanted photo ID. However the driver left it in the porch without ringing never mind checking if it’s the correct address!! Not impressed with DPD.

Just finished setting up my phone and love it so far. Will have a fun weekend exploring the setting and testing the camera.

Just one question if anyone can answer, can’t seem to get the free Apple TV plus . Only offers the 7 day free trial and then subscription. I have not had any subscription before.

Exactly how I feel about the pacific blue. It looked so good in the promos but having used it, it just feels dark imo and I want that lighter phone hence why I’m opting for the gold. My siblings have the silver and although i LOVE the sides, not a big fan of the white back.

Looks so good. I think I’m gonna swap from the pacific blue to the gold. I just prefer the lighter colour and unfortunately the pacific blue doesn’t do that. A damn shame cos I’ve wanted a blue phone for ages and when apple do release one, it’s just a tad too dark. And the stainless steel sides don’t pop as much as I wanted it to. Whereas the gold, the sides on that I’ve heard are marvellous.

Also have my black mini. Some thoughts:

• Noticeable heavier than iPhone6
• it feels fast and snappy.
• Looks gorgeous in black.
• Very sharp screen, love those blacks (1st time OLED)
• The screen is bigger but due to the aspect ratio and the pronounced rounded edges, I don’t have the feeling that the screen is bigger than my old 6 (In terms of usability)
• Holding is ok but a bit difficult to reach the top. One hand operation is a little more harder than with my 6.
• The back just gets finger prints even without touching it.
• Solid upgrade, Im enjoying it!

Sounds like you should definitely go for gold.......or get a brighter blue case! No seriously just swap. I prefer the PB as an alternative to black or graphite but I don’t want a darker phone this year.

So my 512gb silver Max arrived at about 2pm in the end. Spigen EZ Fit protector straight on as soon as the white sticker came off. Such an easy install and a great smooth oleophobic coating on it.
Transferred everything using the direct phone to phone transfer. It moved my watch across too 🙂. Though seeing others say their fitness awards are missing, mine are all there bar the limited edition ones 🤔.
coming from the 11PM the change isn’t that substantial, but I’m liking the new form factor and slightly bigger screen. Plus pixel peeping the photos I can see a difference in ones taken in my living room. Hopefully the rain will break at some point the weekend to try it properly outside.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their new toys, or that it isn’t too longer before yours arrives. Same time next year (well hopefully about 10 months time if timings get back to normal)!

I have the Baltic blue case anyway so I’ll be using that regardless with the gold for whenever I go out or travel. But I’ve made my mind up and I’m going for the blue. Having gone with the black iPhone for the last god knows how long, it’s time to go for a lighter phone. The PB is too dark imo unless you shine it in an angle that reflects off the sun.

My ESR protectors arrived today for my iPhone 12.

Haven‘t removed my Belkin one yet but just placed one ESR over the top of the Belkin to compare sizes - we‘re literally talking just a millimetre all around the whole screen!!

I’m still undecided as to whether it’s worth the effort knowing that the Belkin is such better quality (my previous Belkin on my iPhone XS is still going strong - now in its THIRD year!!).....!!

Fit the ESR. You won’t regret it. You won’t even realise you have a protector on.
