Go through to a different department on the phone and ask to be transferred to someone who can help with a return. That’s what I had to do when I cancelled orders last week.

Hello all! Hope everyone is enjoying their new phones. I definitely am. Who has the MagSafe charger? Is it worth it?

I tried to use two of my Qi chargers but they weren’t charging or it was very difficult to line up to charge.

Or maybe wait until others are selling MagSafe chargers?

I know what you mean about 3d touch. I had the 8 plus then moved to XR, i really missed it. But after a few days you forget it’s no longer there

So a few observations.

Needs to be updated for the new phone. No. I even installed the app on my works iPhone SE tried to register as new, same error (so not the phone being new and the app being outdated)

The error code isn’t recognised on the Barclaycard website.

I genuinely now believe it is my actual credit card at fault. The app doesn’t like the number for some reason. I did try to call them but after 27 minutes of listening to how important my call is, someone answered, it clicked 2 times then they cut me off. You can imagine how pi$$ed off I was by this point.

So I’ve made a decision, I can’t use the app, they cut me off when I tried to ring so they can shove their card where then sun doesn’t shine. I’m sure when I ring the cancellation number later I won’t be on hold for 27 minutes. I know they won’t care I’m a small fish in their massive sea of spending whales but that’s just typical customer service lately.

I had the exact same issue, kept getting error message shown in pic.
I eventually found a tweet that gave alternative contact for barclays instead of calling as people had tweeted they were on hold for over 2 hours.

Follow this link :


it opens an imessage chat with barclaycard just explain the issue and make sure you write the error code, they replied to me within 30 minutes and I was able to register instantly !

Guys I’m so undecided! I got the graphite iPhone pro max yesterday. Now thinking I should of got silver so I’ve ordered one for pick up at an Apple store tomorrow. Now I’m also wandering about size as well. Not sure whether I should go for the 12 pro instead of the max. Guess I just need to go and have a look. Has anyone tried to collect their order a day early from an Apple store? They said it’s ready for pick up. I don’t know how strict they will be because of Covid.
 
Ordered a PM 256 in graphite on launch day on Apple app with pre approved Barclays finance.

As per most people couldn’t get the order to successfully submit till about 13:20 so got a delivery date of 16-18 November.

DPD are delivering today!

Already got a snakehive leather case (same as I’ve got on my XS Max now).

Now hurry up Scott and I hope you’re nearer 1126 than 1226.

That gets so far as I have an account with you then next section, 3 questions Account Enquiry, Covid Support, Payment Holiday - tick Account Enquiry - no send button at the bottom so cannot go any further!!!

This is driving me insane.
 
Anyone tried to pick up their order a day early from an Apple store? Mine says it’s ready to collect but the check in slot is tomorrow at 12:30.

Ordered one for the brother from Amazon and got the same message!

O and the one from EE got delayed by DPD from yesterday to today. Lets hope that turns up.

....how did you manage to crack the protectors - they don’t just crack on their own?!

I was at the same point last night and just checked again and the limited edition ones are back too. From some Googling it looks to have been an issue for a few years. They go missing after transfer then come back over the next couple of days 🙂

I’ve been able to collect early. As long as you’ve had the text message which you have I’ve always found them to be quite accommodating.

Right, so I know this is probably a ‘cool story bro’ moment but who cares... This iPhone 12 Pro Max is honestly the absolute perfect phone for me. I love the design and honestly would be happy if Apple just iterate on this design for a few years. The form factor is perfect, I love that the Apple cases finally cover the bottom of the phone, I love that the screen goes right to the edge, I love there are no rounded edges or stupid curved glass... for me, this is perfection.

Edit: Oh, except for the shiny shiny edges... make a pro phone with a matte effect next time!

You can also check which Apple Services you are eligible for by going to the Apple Store app on your iPhone / iPad.

Open the app and tap your profile pic in the top right. Then tap on ‘Services’ in the menu which opens up and it will show which ones are eligible. Mine shows Apple Care, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade etc.
