Not sure - I have the confirmations from BPF instantly and the same when I used it the other week for a new phone too.
I have the documents, the finance details are on my order and it's saying on the email it's being processed.
The App Store app has also 'lost' some straps I've had on order and on their way to me so I'm expecting this to be a glitch.
Just shows you. The App is not always the quickest way to get your new iPhone.

I would say with how quick they've taken the iPhone 12 pro's off the amazon site they quickly realised the error...

Well, pre ordering certainly was a bit messy this year.
But I managed to get one gold iPhone 12 pro 128g for pick up on oct 24th... I was just a little bit to slow for the 23rd...
At least I won’t have to stress it out on Friday trying to make that appointment after work...

I thought I'd pre-ordered a Mini and a Pro Max with my carrier, and it turns out I've pre-registered to go through this pre-ordering process again in November and place an actual order. I sat around for an hour to do this today without properly reading the marketing materials our carrier sent me. 😂
Yes. My wife upgrade to an 11 from a Xr a couple of months back. We took in everything; phone, box full of unused accessories. They only wanted the phone itself back. They checked condition, checked the serial number against the one registered with IUP and that was it.
I’d take everything to be on the safe side. Better to take them and not need it than vice versa. And chances are you’ll leave with the adapator, lightning cable and EarPods. Unlike this years phones.... 🤪
Carphone Warehouse has a contract for regular 12 in all colours which works out at 771.75 with 20GB data for 64GB (so cheaper than the phone itself) or £819 for 128GB version (£50 Topcashback available potentially making it even less). Seems like another misprice like Amazon. They had Pro model for £987 as well.
That was messy for me, says 28th October -2nd of November. May cancel when I can and rethink this.

Is it normal to go the order on hold for store pick-up? I hope so as it is not like home delivery with tracking provided. Just concerned that it will slip over and could not get my hands on launch day.

What an absolute shambles trying to order through the app. 50 minutes trying to use Apple Pay that kept failing and not giving me an option to use alternate payment method. Shipping had slipped to 9th November at this point for 128gb Blue 12 so I’ve been able to sort store pickup in Birmingham for next Saturday.
Has anyone ever traded in a device with apple? I thought previously it was an apple store credit but now looks like they automatically apply credit to your payment method - the offers less than a couple

Kind of want to just cancel the Amazon order now so I don't have to run the risk of them taking the money then faff about waiting for them to refund.
Anybody else already just cancelled? I would say looking at their terms its almost a cert they're going to cancel the orders due to mispricing, although I know if I do they'll end up honouring it 🤔

Yep, my app still wasn't loading after I'd logged in and filled out all my details for my IUP reservation online.
Would be a bit silly to cancel, you'd kick yourself if they are honored. Just wait and see, I am sure it wont be long before they cancel them, if they are going too that is.
No, I put it on my other credit card, which I normally only use for petrol and groceries and clear in full! I can wait to see if they honour it.
Does it mean that PC/laptop browser works better? I was back and forth in app and luckily get 23rd in-store collect.
I need to repeat this cycle for missus’s Max order on Nov 6th.
