I assume folk with pre-orders are now getting the "Get ready for your new iPhone" thingy on their current phones?
Was anyone else sat refreshing the page to order and then given a 27th-2nd delivery date? Ordered a white pro max 256GB.
Is it worth checking on release day to see if I can reserve and collect one from my local Apple Store?

Quick question. Ordered 15PM 512 in Blue, pick up at Covent Garden and chose lunchtime pick up on launch day, however I ordered an AW S9 GPS to pick up at Battersea 15:15, again on launch day. Couldn’t get to pick up the phone at Battersea so is it possible to change the time so I can pick up both together?
My collect in store purchase has now moved to processing status.
I feel like getting the Pro but I feel I will miss the better battery and screen size

I will miss the screen size too but I can live with it - I just need a phone which I can fit in my pocket and bags.
I had the bigger screen size when I had the 11, having that thing in my pocket while working was a nightmare and was heavy. When I went to the 12 I went back to normal size and its been great ever since. However with my aging eyes I would of liked to get the pro max this year but I just keep remembering how cumbersome it was with the chonky 11 max so went with the standard size again.
Since getting home from work I've sat here and read through every page since page 75.
I'm glad it wasn't just me having a total mare today trying to checkout my pre order. I was delayed initially as work was busy at 1pm (phone calls, customers coming in etc etc)
When I did eventually get on the app after many many attempts, I was finaly able to checkout my pre order about 13:20pm and have a delivery date on Sept 22nd.
I've gone with the 15 plus this year, my last plus sized iPhone was the 8+
I purchased using the Barclays 0% 24 month offer, and after my trade in price of £680 for my current phone I'll have a remaining balance of £219 to pay.

My order that is due 27th-2nd October is “processing”. Does this mean there’s a possibility it’ll arrive sooner?
sure can do... but previously those 2nd batch of orders (the ones with the first slipped date) tend to go PFS on the Friday too... if so, you can't then cancel.
I sent mine yesterday morning, phone received 9am today, money in my account before 5pm.
those collect in store orders are unfortunately the most boring in terms of tracking. it will only be the 'ready for collection' notification next on Thursday.
I’ve done exactly the same. Have a 13 pro max and spent another summer with a huge weighty phone partially hanging out of my shorts pocket. Cannot wait to get my pro even though I’ll have an adjustment period to get used to it.
Most frustrating part is, no mention of delivery date. I just know i’m getting one. Annoying

I loved having the Plus/Pro Max since it launched back in 2014 and I was a Sales Manager at Debenhams during those years so it was useful for reading sales reports or sending emails whilst on the shop floor. Since it closed down and I'm not longer in that role, I don't need to use my phone for that purpose anymore which is why I didn't mind going down to the Pro - I only use my phone for IG, News and WhatsApp/iMessage - everything else I do on my MacBook.
Hi, have you had any luck with getting this sorted? Same thing happened to me. Got an error then and hour later it said my loan was agreed with an order number but cannot find it on my apple app at all. In the mean time i bought one outright for store pick up next Friday. So now dont k ow whats happeneing?Having a terrible experience… tried to get it with 24 month 0% interest option. It errored while submitting the application. I thought I’ll just try later, the website must be under strain (this was around 2pm I think).
Then a little while later I got an email from Barclay’s with my credit agreement, but nothing from Apple (4 hours later). Pretty worried I have a £1000+ loan without an iPhone! Don’t want to try ordering again in case I get two loans and/or phones.

Yea I hear you there, it doesn't take too long to get used to the smaller size and it feels so much better than handling the bigger phone imo, I think the answer to a smaller phone but bigger screen is a foldable but whether they do one or not is any ones guess. The phone would be a bit thicker but i dont think it would be as bad as having a pro max or plus sized phone
Normally yeah but decided to go carrier route and then after the delay on phone went to very but all sold out
