Ordered my PM 512gb Black Titanium earlier and managed to get release day delivery!

Sorry to hear so many people experienced technical issues and will miss out on the release day launch! That must be very frustrating. 😞

Can anyone suggest a decent Pro Max clear case that has a built-in card/ID holder on the back.

Daughter insisting this type, does t like the idea of a case and then magnetic holder.

Only ones I can find are the cheap unbranded ones
Might be worth checking out Bellroy.
Edit: sorry they don’t seem to have a clear case like this.

I think it is pretty sad that we don’t get the same tracking fun like the US folks…

I’ve done exactly the same. Have a 13 pro max and spent another summer with a huge weighty phone partially hanging out of my shorts pocket. Cannot wait to get my pro even though I’ll have an adjustment period to get used to it.
I made the mistake going from a xs max to a 12 pro. Figured I didn’t need such a big screen but I hated it. Less usable and worse battery. Purchased from curry’s on launch day so couldn’t return so had to sell on eBay and picked up a 12 pro max instead
 
So my preorder experience was relatively smooth. I tried to get on the app or website dead on 1pm. At 1.03pm I finally got into the app and it took me straight to the preorder I had saved but then my session suddenly expired. I closed the app and reopened it and had to manually go to my saved preorder which was still there.

I managed to complete my preorder using Apple Pay at 1.04pm and got an email confirmation straight after. I managed to get launch day express delivery next Friday for a 512GB Titanium Blue Pro Max. 😃👍
 
I had the bigger screen size when I had the 11, having that thing in my pocket while working was a nightmare and was heavy. When I went to the 12 I went back to normal size and its been great ever since. However with my aging eyes I would of liked to get the pro max this year but I just keep remembering how cumbersome it was with the chonky 11 max so went with the standard size again.
A smaller phone doesn’t have to be worse for your eyes. You can increase the font/icon size in the settings.

I do 24 months everytime

Pay 12 months, early upgrade, pay the fee (in this case £650) and then upgrade to the new phone.

My current 14 Pro Max was £72 a month for the same plan (after the cpi RPI increase) so now I’ve paid £650 to upgrade and pay out my old contract, new plan and phone is £63 a month and then I’ll list the phone on Facebook and flog it for around £750-£800

Then hopefully £100-£150 in the bank and new iPhone and a lower monthly payment.
 
Hi, have you had any luck with getting this sorted? Same thing happened to me. Got an error then and hour later it said my loan was agreed with an order number but cannot find it on my apple app at all. In the mean time i bought one outright for store pick up next Friday. So now dont k ow whats happeneing?
I went ahead and ordered again and this time it worked but order is on hold as Barclay’s need to contact me for more details (possibly because the multiple credit applications look sus?). They’ve not contacted me yet but I’m hoping it’ll be an opportunity to talk to them about the first attempt and see if there’s anything to resolve there. I’ll post back if anything comes out of it. They’re meant to contact within 24 hours but I wouldn’t be surprised if I have to wait till next week now.

Anyone know if we can cancel a order on the App?

I have 2 orders for pick up on 22nd due to pre-pre order crashing out ordering fresh then 2 confirmation emails coming through.

I don’t need or want 2. So want to cancel one of them (also don’t have enough on my card for £3k to come out)

Is it easy to cancel or do I need to call them. Can’t see an option at the moment. But that’s not unusual for pre-order day.

Give it until tomorrow and try on the website.

Anyone like me who had the payment errors and it not go through no matter what, check again, Apple seems to have fixed the issue finally and they took the payment and it’s now on on Processing for the 22nd.

Thank F for that, after being on hold for over two hour’s total today and I was going to have to get up early to try calling them again I now don’t have to. 😳🙄
 
Hi Everyone, I got my pre order placed through Apple Business but still haven't received anything, when I rang up just after 1pm, they'd said they've put all of their orders through and that the consumer site had crashed. Is there anyone else in my position, or am I just being impatient?!

Well I’ve been stuck on this since I tried to pay on ApplePay with my debit card and it got declined! This is the first year that I can remember where you can’t raise anybody from Apple either on the phone or via chat to help sort it out.

I was getting this earlier too. Ringing them fixed it and for others. @WhiteHawk said above that it fixed eventually for him online… when you say “stuck in this since”, have you tried refreshing? Or have you had the same page trying load the whole time?

Thanks! Couldn’t get through on phone and they’re closed now. Tried several times, quitting and going back in via the link from the email.

Damn, really would’ve thought it’d be fixed by now. Try calling tomorrow and when it asks why you’re calling say “my order is on hold and I need to update my payment method”. I said that exactly and it put me on hold. It kept cutting me off if I said anything else. Once you get through to someone they’ll take your card details and you’ll be all set and it shouldn’t affect your delivery. Hope you get it sorted!

So I have a slight issue. My original IPhone 13P has its serial number on my Apple account and I’ve used that as trade in, that phone was effectively replaced by Apple under warranty and has a new serial number.

Does anyone think this will cause an issue with my trade in

Shouldn't do as I had something similar with a 12PM last year, if you're trading in store then there will be no issue whatsoever. There may be a small blip if being sent but they'll be able to match up the serials to your existing device.

Getting it done in store will be easier, it's the way I usually do it. That way they'll assess the value and give you the rebate or gift card on the spot
