On a collection order, do they just give me a random device that matches the requirements I purchased or does one get per-assigned to me

I’ve being using the link in the Apple Store app at the top of the order to change the payment method that it gave because it failed, that brought me to the webpage to try paying again which you got the same result as me, but I just got home from work and that link instead opened the order webpage saying it was processing and going back to the Store app it updated to show that also.
From what I am aware of, when the stock arrives, they'll print out a sticker and allocate you that device, then that's yours until you collect it and will be ready at your specified collection time, should be just like any other Apple collection order
Thanks and it’s my first collection order and I suffer from chronic anxiety even under medication for it’s so panicking it’s going to go wrong especially as I only got charged £19 so far and the device cost hasn’t gone out and with me getting apple care wanted to make sure it’s all ok.
I even have thoughts I’ll get a empty box 😭
Easier said than done, but don’t worry! You’ll get your phone. You won’t see the charge for a few days if you’re collecting in store.

don’t worry. What I do is I’ll go pick it up and I’ll open it right there at the store and inspect it all over to make sure I’m 100% happy with it before I leave the store that way there’s no surprises when you get home and have to go back etc.
I’m sure it’ll be all grand though

What's the latest with transferring an EE eSIM from old phone to new phone? As I'm on the apple upgrade I'll have wiped my old phone and handed it to apple in-store before I get my new phone.

2 Hours and 6 Minutes the call lasted. Was fine as I had it on as I drove home! All sorted now and preparing for dispatch.
Just get reading glasses. That’s likely what you will need eventually anyway. I got a pro max thinking it would help for aging vision but it didn’t, and I found the max too bulky for carrying around. So I’ve moved back to 15 pro this year.
Exactly this! My vision isn't great anymore either but I'm also getting a Pro but I don't understand why people think getting the PM will be helpful to their eyesight - you just need to enlarge the text.
So I spoke to guy today at EE - he explained that EE have changed their processes this year. Basically they have three different timescales 1) delivery within one day 2) delivery within 14 days and 3) delivery within 27 days.
I understood that as EE had too many people kicking off when they didn’t get their phone on launch day so changed it to within 14 days. That’s why every single phone was 14 days from the start
Interesting that the natural titanium now says 28 days on EE site
hard to say on delivery based on who you speak to. I know guy I spoke to said it’s 14 days from next Friday lol

To be honest I don't let things like battery size stress me out, I just want a phone I'll enjoy using daily and the rest I'll deal with as I go...
If the eSIM transfer doesn't work (last year it didn't for many), you will need the active line and the my EE app on the new iPhone to issue a new eSIM.
If by that time you have wiped and given away your trade-in phone, you will need to walk in an EE store nearby and request an eSIM replacement (or SIM if they don't have any eSIM QR code leaflets available) and you will need your ID for that, for example a passport.
It is because you can increase the font size and with the extra space you can see more on the screen. My mother does this and she is suffering with an iPhone 8. It's time for her to move to a Plus or Max.
increasing the brightness helps too. Also, you get more text on-screen with the pro max than the pro. Plus, you know, tonnes more battery life.
