I ordered from Currys on Monday when stock was showing for 15 Pro 128gb natural titanium. Received the email today for free 3 months apple subscription (music, fitness, arcade or TV+). Hopefully this a sign that the order won’t get cancelled 🙈

Same old… Do we know why though? Are these retailers agreeing a stock allocation from apple for a set date which isn't met or are they knowingly overselling on a false delivery promise?
 
This always happens with currys same thing happened with the ps5 pre orders. Back when CPW was separate you could ring their exec team kick off and you’d get compensation from a credit note to a Cheque. I remember the note 7 fiasco was especially bad. You have to go through curry’s now. Nowadays the manufacturer for sim free and the network direct for contracts is the only way forward. Mobiles.co.uk for example have different stock to curry’s and Cpw despite being owned by curry’s. Even for networks o2 since being merged with virgin media has gone terrible.

Yes but apparently the screen is also slightly curved at the edges now which cause an issue with the 14 screen protectors. Also the 14 ones have a cut out that the top and the 15 ones don’t probably because of the narrower bezels. I guess you can always try and see how well they fit. I still have some myself but not going to take a chance. I’ve bought some 15 Pro Max specific ESR Armorite screen protectors.

If you go back through my post history you can find the year when I was scammed by Currys, I think it was the Xs.

AO I've had no issues with before but every year I write in here don't order from Currys and every year I am ignored!

Currys must know they're scamming people but I assume they get enough customers waiting so it's worth their while? They aren't charging extra so hard to know what the angle is.

I suspect they just keep the pre-order open way longer than they actually have stock.

What did you expect from Currys? So many horror stories. Also try to claim anything under UK consumer law after the first year and you’re not getting anywhere until you reach the small claims court with an independent report on the issue.
