For anyone doing Upgrade Anytime through EE, do you get any kind of email / text confirmation about the pack to send the current phone in?

It’s very much the pile it high sell it cheap model and as long as you don’t need extras, such as Wi-Fi hotspots, it should be fine. It works on the Three network, as does Smarty, so that might be an issue depending on where you expect to use the phone. Like pretty much all virtual providers support is online only. I don’t think they support e-SIMs if that is important.

If Three is a problem might be worth looking at Lebara (Vodafone) or Sky/Tesco/Gifgaff (O2). Finally it’s worth looking at both USwitch and MoneySavingExpert as they occasionally have exclusive deals to save a bit more.

I am with Three with no issues where I live / work, but not so great on the commute. Will ID coverage improve after three and vodafone merger?
 
Well my order is still showing from 27th Sept till 2nd October, payment is still pending from my account balance, so the chance of it moving forward is now very slim...!🤔🤔

People who told told the 27th at the last moment... we're not getting it any sooner, are we? :(

Wish I'd bought it off Amazon now rather than falling over myself to get it from Apple

Was chatting to a friend this afternoon, and he said he thinks the deliveries from Very will come by Royal Mail. That makes sense. I have ordered a Mac from them in the past, and a HomePod, and they have all been delivered by Royal mail. :)
 
I'm still showing as preparing to dispatch and it should be a 22nd Sept delivery. Has everyone had a dispatch notification or I'm not alone?

I’ve used the ESR screen protectors on my 13 and 14 Pro Max phones. On my 14 Pro Max it’s the ESR Armorite with a black border. I don’t even notice it. I do use a case though.

Trust me you don't, people who ordered off Amazon won't get their phones on launch day... they always oversell them and you'll probably end up with yours sooner than they will

Anyone know if you can buy cases in store while picking up? Just curious, since my amazon order was a fail, I'll consider the expensive stuff I guess.

I order a lot through Very and its mixed. I get a lot through RM, but it's often through Yodel (or who ever they are now). I recall my Xbox Series X launch day was a shambles with Yodel, so hopefully RM will be the main choice for Very.
*edit* I've ordered a few MacBooks from Very in the past few years, and they've all been delivered by RM, so hopefully that'll be the default!
