I've always been on sim only with EE and kept a plan from a few years ago.

So I received these ESR screen protectors today as I used ESR the last two years and they now have a black bezel on the screen protector itself. This concerns me… has anyone used screen protectors with black bezels and what did they think?

They are cutting their revenue on airtime. They can do that because they use a separate core on Three that is... let's say less powerful. Same for SMARTY. In most cases you won't feel the difference, but for example, they do get more packet loss than Three lines.

Heard nothing about my phone, I did email them a few days ago and they said they still plan on delivering the phones on 22nd with a first come first serve basis, I ordered late Friday night.... it did say 22nd when I ordered and by Sunday it jumped to 1-2 weeks so hopefully I am due it this Friday.

It won't show as shipped until Thursday if you're getting it Friday.

if you've ordered from Apple and expecting your phone to be delivered to you on Friday then it will be tomorrow the status starts to change. Usually from late morning things happen. Will be DPD or DHL. if you have the DPD app you will likely get a ping on that first before the actual apple order status changes. if its DHL you may get a text but its likely the apple.com order status will change to shipped and have a tracking link in. That link goes to Syncreon and from there you can find the actual DPD link.

on Friday morning you will get the usual DPD or DHL 1 hour window push message and/or text.

Never had a launch day device not turn up on launch day. Usually morning too.

Hard to say since we dont have the actual phones in hand. But it usually means regular screen protectors that don't fully cover the edges and are slightly shrunk down. Or use protectors that use flexible black edges like ESR to get more edge to edge coverage.

Just gone to pickup case & screen protector from amazon locker, and they weren't in there. (Original dodgy tracking said "unable to access" and they delivered the next day allegedly.

Of course Amazon don't want to know, it's impossible for a package to go missing from a locker (hah). Silly attitude, spent far too much with them far larger normally. So for £30, that's my last order ever.
