Ordered mine Friday and got this message today...

Awaiting Stock​

We've successfully completed the network and security checks, however the demand for this handset has been higher than we expected and stock availability is extremely low. Your estimated delivery date is detailed in your delivery information, if we anticipate this date to change we will let you know via email.

Doesn't sound promising, I will cancel it if its not here tomorrow as the only reason I got it on contract was to make sure I got it on launch.

Their estimated delivery date says 3-5 days, but I think they just don't want me to cancel it and it's more likely 2 weeks+
Same here I think I will be cancelling mine too if I get a phone tomorrow
 
Add another disappointing MM experience.

Went to move my saved order to checkout. Basket says £680 - £20 kiosk fee, then “we’ll pay you £570..”

Even says in the summary £680…?…

£570 is the price today.

Saved quotes don't work. If you'd have checked out at £680 then they would pay out.

Have you looked to check out using Royal Mail? Does the price honour?
 
Same here I think I will be cancelling mine too if I get a phone tomorrow
When did you order? I ordered Friday night and it did say 22nd delivery when I ordered which is why I went with it, its strange that everyone is getting delivery confirmations with DPD as that's the courier Mobile Direct is using too.

I ordered mine on Sunday for a delivery for tomorrow.

Looks like it’s been pushed back, when ordering it showed 22nd

Only thing we can do is hope for an email/text later today or tomorrow morning, I mean for me it said 22nd delivery until the Sunday when I checked it and it then said 1-2 weeks, so I assumed I would be in with the launch day deliveries, not sure if the email I got is some automated one but everyone else getting their tracking info isn't a good sign for me haha.

Can someone point me in the right direction of where to look tomorrow for in store stock please?

I’ve read you can reserve as if purchasing through Barclays finance and then opt to pay in full in the store, is that correct?
 
Fair play to Argos if they get them all out for delivery tomorrow. I was skeptical to say the least,

Did you get a email saying 1-2 weeks ? I received email saying 3-5 days
 
Don’t know if I should wait or look elsewhere for next day delivery. I don’t mind waiting 3-5 days but if they push it more back then. I will cancel.

My email also said 3-5 days, not sure if this is automated rubbish and it will be here tomorrow or if it really will be here in 3-5 days OR they are stalling and hoping people wont cancel? all I know is if its not here this weekend I wont be in next week for delivery anyway due to my work hours and I will just cancel it.

Yeah same, I will see till later tonight see if any update. If not will cancel and see if I can get it from somewhere else

I hadn’t no, but just tried and says “we’ll pay you £680” as saved, no fees.

Wow what’s the difference!?! Is it safe? What do you need to send just the iPhone?
 
What brand did you go for? I’m in the same boat with CarPlay but may use the old 5w for overnight charging to preserve battery health. Looking at Anker braided ones in Amazon - 2 for £7.99…
This I am not fussed about branding
