Have to say the Spigen Ez Fit screen protector really is easier to fit than the ESR ones I've used in the past. Whether it is as good as the ESR armoire is a different question but I didn't want something with visible black boarders given how slim the borders are on the 15 pro.
checking from early morning and through out... last year in the days after launch, stock was coming online in stores at different times in different locations.

first ask yourself what you need another cable for?
if you just want to change the one that came in the box and no other reason.. then I wouldn't bother..
if you need a longer one, are doing data transfers of significant size regularly or just need an extra cable for the car or something... then there are plenty to go for.. anything that supports usb3.2 gen 2... but that's for the theoretical max 10Gbps... but again, only if you're going to be transferred loads frmm the phone to a supported laptop/Mac on the other end.
if its just charging, you can find plenty on amazon that will do the trick
Hi all, I’ve been watching this thread ever since the preorders opened, so thought I’d make a real appearance now all the madness is coming to an end!
I struggled massively with ordering, but managed to get my 15PM Black Titanium 256gb in for collection at 13:18. Possibly the most intense 18 minutes of my life 🙄
Collection from the Cardiff store was… interesting. I did release day collection for my 13P in 2021 so I knew what to expect, but it was a lot busier this time! Was stuck in a queue for roughly 20 mins. In that time, some bloke tried to cut through half the queue and, as true Brits, many people told him off. Eventually the Apple rep checking people in had to get involved, and he started kicking off! Last I saw before being whisked into the store, the manager and a security guard were both there talking to him, I wonder what followed 🤔
Whilst sitting in the store waiting for my iCloud backup to download as I was trading in my 13P, a lady in another area started kicking off about wanting cash rather than a gift card. All of us at the table had been there for a while waiting for our phones to be set up, so the Apple rep looking after us just glanced over and said “well, at least you have some entertainment now” 😆
Just thought I’d share some of the shenanigans of the day, seeing as most others experiences have been uneventful at the store!

Using quick transfer do you have to unpair Apple Watch from old iPhone first, as recommended by Apple here? https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201269
Or can you just start the transfer from one iPhone to another (not iCloud restore) and it will transfer your Apple Watch over to?

iPhone 2023 is coming to an end on the day for me for once... no second doubting colour or size this year.. have the 3 cases (keeping clay silicone and sending back fine woven and the mujjo) and going with ESR armorite again.
get kids feds and out my way so I can start the fresh install and set up..
oh how wild my Friday evenings are!

It's taken all day but my iPhone has moved on to Ready for Pickup at the Apple Store this evening.

no need... I just setup new phone, restored from iCloud, and the watch asked if i wanted to swap to the new phone.
Not sure now but think before you had to take to store to check/run diagnostic. Not sure on process now.
I mean you won't notice that much difference for smaller files etc... you'll get a few seconds difference if anything.. just stick it out with the one from the box and see how you go.
if, though, you were recording 4k at 60fps and then had to write that to external ssd (you can't do it to phone directly) then it might be worth a punt.
curious to see how it goes.. was it one of the multi saved quotes?
can't recall seeing in all the posts anyone who had a long saved quote having it honoured via Royal Mail?

That didn't work for me. It kept saying' Unable to connect to Apple Watch', so I had to erase and set the watch as a new one.
Did you check out and use the kiosk option? How come when I did this it dropped £110, but choosing Royal Mail stayed same original higher offer?
Can you chose Royal Mail and then still go to kiosk to try with order number?

Exactly the same experience for me. First one I binned, second had bubbles and struggled to get the frame back off around the protector which lifted it and caused some bubbling. Don't think ESR had the perfect dimensions yet this year...
