Has anyone actually managed to pick up a 256 PM from the Apple Store? I returned mine last week due to faults in the paint and little chips on the glass and have been checking daily as I get ready for work, but haven’t seen a single pro max available

Received £700 in my account form MM for my 14PM 128 yesterday. Had posted it to them on Saturday so happy with the turnaround and service. Price locked in initially a week or so before the keynote and I had to extend a couple of times as I didn’t manage to get a release day launch but MM honoured the original locked in price.
That’s a good amount! What company is “MM”? What does the acronym stand for?

Dunno bud re EE dispatch times.
Last week they were shipping out all Blue Titanium Pro Max. Really pot of luck tbh.

F&F will not work for Business account.
got my blue pro max last week so about right. NT seems a longer wait with EE

Why didn't you just ask them to exchange it?

Yes I did. I swapped my black 256 pro max for an NT last week. I just kept checking for want to come into my local Apple Store and then I reserved it and went in and did the exchange.

That doesn't make me happy. As I said in a reply yesterday, still got Arrives 9 Nov - 16 Nov for my White 15PM 256 order. Frustrating if new orders are being promised earlier delivery.

(I'm hopeful that what is happening is simply that Apple do not update predicted dates until orders switch from Processing to Preparing to Ship. While I can understand that, it would be nice to have some sort of information about where in the queue my order is.)

Finally got my new sims from EE. They've sent me both a physical sim and an e-sim. Which should I activate? Never had an e-sim before.

They told me it was only 14 days in store. 30 day extension was online return only but it looks like I have the option for a UPS collection
If ordered online, you can request an extra 14 days by just asking. However, it must go back via UPS. In store, they’ll take it back after 14 days but a manager has to authorise it.

Hi buddy. I tried, a couple of times but each time they said it was invalid
They lied to you.

Ive just tried that code online and its working fine.

If you've already upgraded etc. Am i ok to pass that on to someone in need?

I think it would depend on whether I ever expected to need a physical SIM such as when travelling abroad. If so, probably bite the bullet of going to ESIM now.

However, if you would be using a foreign ESIM, or never likely to need a foreign physical SIM, I'd just stick to what you know.

Go for it. It actually worked out really well. They manually added the 30%, a 20% perk code and 10% multiline. Meaning the Pro 256 with 125GB data is costing just £32 a month. Thanks again.

Ok .. so I’ve had the Pro Max for a few weeks now so thought I’d feed back.
I’ve always stuck with the Pro but last year I realised I needed something bigger as I’m ‘that age’ for eye sight! .. got a 14 pro max part way through the year and really struggled with it being too chunky and too big generally. Went back to using the Pro but missed hugely the battery life of the PM.
This time round ordered a Pro Max .. had no justifiable reason to upgrade otherwise (even though I tend to do it anyways!). This Pro Max is different. Somehow they’ve made the less weight noticeable .. the size and the slight downward corners just make it totally different to have in my hand or my pocket. I am absolutely loving it. So now I have the battery life, the 5x optical zoom (which is definitely noticeable and better too) and the bigger screen estate. This is absolutely the way forward and I’d encourage anyone who’d quite like a Pro Max but found them too big to hold to give the 15 Pro Max a go. Or go into an Apple store and have a play with one.
I’m completely sold!

Next question; Those with a cellular Apple Watch, do you have a data plan with it or not bother. Just joined EE and it's £7 a month (was paying £5 with O2). Just thinking if I need it or not?

I have with EE and pay £3 pcm. I use my watch on outdoor walks and leave my 15 pro home.

Speak to EE and they should offer you for £5.

I added the Ultra2 to my EE plan on a 4gb tariff. £30pm for 24 months works out cheaper than buying it outright then adding data.

No upfront and that’s with a 20% discount.

Spoke to them earlier and they insisted £7. Told them about the discount code you sent me and they said couldn’t be used with watch.
