Thanks to all those who recommended the Torras screen protector. I finally bought one and installed it. I found it a breeze, only had one tiny air bubble which I easily removed with the tool they provided. Can't even really tell the protector is there!
Same here, really nice screen protector, and nice easy to install system, thank you to all who recommended them
Also scanned the QR code and they’re sending me a case as well, I’m pretty sure they’d honour they’re warranty as well, so although initially expensive, overall a good investment 👍

Anyone using the lens protectors with the ESR Amorite screen protectors?
I’m not sure if they’re a good idea. I’ve heard some reports that they affect the quality of the pictures. I’m also not sure if they’re really necessary especially if you use a good case.

I’m actually not entirely happy with the ESR screen protector either. I don’t think it works well with the curved edges of the phone especially with the black borders. I’m planning on replacing it with the Torras GlassGo which people are saying works better.

I’ve put them on for now. Never used them on any iPhones before.

If anyone wants 30% Off EE F&F let me know.
EE wouldn't accept mine as the apparently needs to be used at the time of the order. Wasn't impressed, the only reason why I didn't do that was because the lady I spoke to on the phone forgot to add it when my online order failed.

Get them to listen to the recording and they’ll add it. They are pretty good with this stuff

Have you tried chat. They are pretty good and helpful sorting out discounts.

I’ve just ended my chat after 2 hours or so. Not got anywhere . They kept sending me instructions of how to contact my Apple Watch. They then told me to add Apple Watch plan for £7 and then they’d apply discount. Did that. Then they said let them know when I’ve done that. They replied “looks like you’ve already activated your Apple Watch?” After repeating again they’ve just said they’d open a complaint. Not happy so far with EE and might still cancel.

Next question; Those with a cellular Apple Watch, do you have a data plan with it or not bother. Just joined EE and it's £7 a month (was paying £5 with O2). Just thinking if I need it or not?
I got it on mine. Don't use it loads but i use it when i go to the gym so i don't need my phone and when i take my son out for a walk i leave my phone at home.

Well I just got back from Hawaii. Had preordered a few weeks ago for pickup. Brought the 15PM in NT but when I saw it in person I much more preferred the White but they didn’t have any in stock. So NT it was.

Anyways, got back to the UK a few days ago. Waited for my new case before setting up the phone. Yes it’s E-Sim only but the transfer from my 14Pro to Simless 15PM took a few seconds and completely without any issues.

Up and running. Taking some time adjusting to a larger phone and got to admit I probably would have stayed on normal pro if I had the choice now but the battery life is great. Charged to 100% about 5pm yesterday and currently still on 47% as of 8am today.

Nothing massively different experience wise from what I can tell but I didn’t have many issues on the 14 Pro. Thankfully my handset has no chips/dents or overheating issues, running as expected.

Speak with chat and if they say no tell them to transfer chat to a manager.

Escalate to a managerial level.

Yeah, I’ve had a data plan with EE since the series 3 Watch. I think it still cost me £5 a month as I just transfer it every year

I have a plan with Vodafone and it costs me £7 per month. I leave my phone at home every day when I walk the dog or nip to the shop.

My pet hate is people on dog walks that pay absolutely no attention to what their dog is doing because they’ve either got their face glued to their phone or walk around with a phone call on loudspeaker shouting a conversation. Why they have it on loudspeaker I’ll never know, if they are holding it under their chin to talk why don’t they just take it off loud and hold it their ear?

Just phoned them and a nice chap in Ireland applied a 25% discount for my watch so that makes it £5.20 a month which is great. Took 5 mins! Hours on chat last night got me nowhere. I only phoned to ask when my old number will port over (said by Tuesday) and while I was on I asked him about the watch. Glad I did now.

After some delays, Xtrememskins films arrived.

Not my best application this year, but it'll have to do. And still curing.

So...another caseless setup for the year. Wish me luck. Torras screen protector and Clear Matte skins for the rails and back.
#teamnocase

Still mulling Applecare+ since the phone is lighter and may be easier to drop but i'll see how it goes.

Excuse the terrible photos (2018 iPad Pro), and the Blue Ti seems to trip up average cameras.

Yes. Crazy I know. Probably don't need 512gb and never had before. Was going to stop my "obsession" about it and then one popped up on John Lewis and grabbed it. As long as there's no problems with it I'll keep and return the 256. Will download onto it all I can and then next year know if I need 256 or 512...?
When you doubt you should go for the higher capacity! I had the same issue 2 years ago with the 13PM and then realised I did not need the higher storage so when I changed for the 14PM I went for the lower storage, and had no issues at all. However it might be worth mentioning I have the 2TB iCloud plan so I have access to everything I want (almost) at any given time 🙂

Result. They always have room to apply One Discount per line.

I would still escalate it if you got chat transcript. When you request to be transferred to supervisor and manager then the advisor by default have to open an official complaint and they dont like that.

Try and you might be able to get further discounted price if that was promised by chat advisor.
