I’ve just set up my trade in and pre order with Apple uk. Gone for 256GB Pro Max in natural titanium. Just got to wait till Friday now to confirm everything.

just gotta get one Of those EZ fit spigen screen protectors from Amazon now. I know they obviously get pre release units but always amazes me how quickly they get the cases and screen protectors out.

It’s infuriating that there’s exclusive features on the Max again like what they did with the 12. These exclusive features will magically make it into the 16 Pro version next year though like what happened with the 13.

Anyone know if Apple accepts gift card payments for Apple Care +? I know it definitely doesn't work on monthly payments as Apple ignores your gift card balance and takes it out of your payment card. Not sure if it's the same if you pay the full amount at the time of placing an order.

Hmm I can get gift cards at a bit of a discount through work, never looked at it before but every little helps

Have they usually gone through fine when pre ordering? Would hate to miss a launch day delivery by trying to save the cost of the case!

Feel like I ask this every year, but I’m still on the IUP - is it better to stick with this or go onto the 24 monthly payments and trade in with Apple next year? I know IUP forces you to have AC+, but I’d probably opt for that anyway.

here we all are again chaps, our yearly pilgrimage for the new iPhone :)

I just preordered and did the credit card verification for a natural Pro Max 256gb and a pink 128gb Plus.

Let's hope the final check out on Friday isn't a **** show like last year with it lagggggggging like crazy.

Hoping for a smooth 'pick your time slot for collection'.

Managed to order the Ultra 2 and Pink Series 9 for a Friday morning collection, so fingers crossed I can match up the collection times with the phones :)

Good luck everyone :)

Just locked in a price of 445 GBP for my iPhone 12 PM 256GB on MM. That's a decent return given that my max battery is now 82% haha. Also, my 15 PM FineWoven cases are now preparing for dispatch, with no delay in delivery date (tomorrow).

Like many others, I’m pretty sure I’m going to go with the natural titanium finish. Now deciding which case to go for.

I’ve narrowed it down to these three:

I go with the 24 monthly payments now as you have a lot more flexibility and you get a much better trade-in value from MusicMagpie as opposed to returning your old phone to pay off the balance. For example, I owe £654.48 for my iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB (12 months of £54.54), however MusicMagpie is giving me £720, which means I pocket that difference (£65.52).

Also, it means that I can order the new phone directly through the Apple Store, then even receive it and set it up whilst still holding on to the old one. Once everything is fully transferred over and I've compared the two phones, I send the old one back to MusicMagpie and pay off the remaining balance with Barclays.

I'm not sure about what would happen with Apple Care however...

Pre-approved for a 15 Pro Max via Apple. Now to figure out which case to go for. Definitely don't want to go for another silicone case, but the FineWoven just doesn't do it for me, especially at the £59 price tag!!

Any good recommendations? Ideally MagSafe compatible as I use a MagSafe pop socket, and at a good price.

Ugh. That Barclays loan application rejects me every year. And every year I have a fantastic credit score and no defaults. It’s wild.
You know what that used to happen to me about 2-3 years ago. And it was only Barclays. I changed the email address I used and it has worked ever since. So weird.

Well, I've always managed with 256 but, the 512 would only be £3.75 extra a month. Still don't need it but? 🤔

Well I intend to keep this phone for the next 3 years or so, so I'm future proofing it.

See ya back here next year then!

Oooo interesting, never used them before? What they like in comparison to the Spigen ones?
