They hold until they end of the day and then it’s released back into stock for sale.

Even if it’s all paid for? That’s very mean of them! Might mean I have to watch the pre-orders and wait till the shipping date shifts until when I’m back home before I hit the button.

Anyone know how long an Apple Store will hold a “pick up” phone. I’m away on 22nd and plan to buy one and pay in full. If they’ll hold it for 14 days then I’m fine. If they’ll only hold it for 7 days I won’t be home in time.

They hold until they end of the day and then it’s released back into stock for sale.

Not quite — you’ll need to select a timeframe for pickup when you order, but if you’d paid outright or paid using financing, it’ll be held for 7 days (it’s halved from 14 during launch from memory).

The only time the phone is returned to stock at EOD is when you make an iUP reservation and don’t collect.

I've had that too! Just applied for a 0% credit card and that went through fine, £2k limit.

So will put the iPhone 15PM 256GB on that and keep the money in my savings pot earning 4.5%

I always buy my phones outright; but we've spugged most of our savings away now in tied-down accounts; so the 0% CC does me a treat...

My IP14PM is going to the wife; I'll sell her Pixel 7 Pro on eBay when the next 80% / £1 offer is emailed to me

Just need Spigen to release their EZFit tempered glass screen protector ASAP now; will go with the ESR offerings for the time being...

This is all good timing for me as I'm over in Dublin next week meeting with my colleagues; so it'll be sorted for when I'm back... Happy to wait for delivery etc

Normally buy outright and have the cash budgeted and set aside, but figured it was better in my bank account than Apple’s, so went 0%.

It’s not a hand back (that’s the iPhone upgrade Program).

It’s your phone, sell it whenever you want (obvs remembering to pay off your 0% loan).

I've had a standard ESR one on the 14 Pro for a year and it's held up surprisingly well.

Pre Pre'd my wife a 15 in yellow.

She currently has a 1.5 year old, 13 Pro on 88% battery health. Isn't too fussed about tech but likes getting a new phone and wants to save a bit of money.

The money she'll get for the 13 pro will close the loan off with Barclays and she'll save £8 a month having a 15.
