Got these two ready to pre-order. Never knew doing it this way was possible and it takes the stress out of trying to fly through the trade in options on the day. Hopefully I can manage to get them on launch day as I'm not working that day, so plenty of time to play with my new toy!
Did you pre-auth your card or just pick Apple Pay…not sure if my memory is tricking me but I thought I remembered people having problems with Apple Pay…just want to check because that’s the option I currently picked in the pre-pre-order

I am officially out this year. After being on the fence, off the fence and on again. No criticism of Apple, but nothing to make me want to trade in a 14pro for a 15pro.

I said on the Watch forum it is a good thing. We can spend £1200 in 2022 and it is still current at the back end of 2023. I think MacRumors is obviously skewed with enthusiasts so it appears that everyone updates every year, but in reality there is no need. Every 2 - 3 years isn't bad.

Got my £950 on my Apple Account in vouchers burning a hole in my pocket though. Now how much is a 15" MBA and I wonder what the trade in is on my MBA M1.......:)

I typically update every couple of years, but the change to USB-C is something I want to get on board with straight away as I can cut down on cable mess! Titanium is pretty cool too...

Don't! lol. I have decided. I need to get to Friday without Pre-Order and it is taken out of my hands lol.

Lol, seriously I am with you, USB-C is good, but 99% of the time i wireless charge so that doesn't make it a 'must have' for me.

You still have a few things to choose once you choose to purchase, delivery or collection primarily, and if collection when and where.

I'm looking to upgrade from my 12 Pro max to 15, I've always just bought outright, but looking at the 24 month plan at 0% APR seems a no brainer to me?

Does anyone else in the UK use this program?
Nope, you may be the first!

I’m just messing lol - it’s quite common

Typically I'd get it delivered but I'm tempted to pop to Leeds and pick it up instead, I'll make up my mind before Friday! 😅

So good to be back here, just read through all 50+ pages!

Upgrading from the 12 PM to the 15PM (probably Blue….or Black…decisions decisions!!)

I’ve just added Apple Gift card vouchers (at a discount through work) to my store balance in the Apple Store app.

Question - the apple trade in value - that you receive after they’ve received your old phone back, they say they apply it to your payment method - do they mean my debit card that is attached to my Apple Store account…..or do they mean that as I’m paying with an Apple Store gift card balance that it’ll be credited back to the gift card balance?

Can we talk about UW2 in here, or nah? 🤷‍♂️

There's only a single UW2-specific thread and it's worldwide and the vibe is dead. 😒

I've checked with siblings and no one wants my UW (for free!) so I guess it's going back in the box and into storage.

I'm not sure if I should purchase it outright or get it with EE - I'm sure I'm paying almost £10 just for the privilege of having EE data on my UW which I purchased outright from Apple, so I'm contemplating seeing what EE's prices are like. I know EE's plans are 24 months, but I can move the data plan across in 12 months - so if it's at/under £1039 (£799 + £240) over the 24 months, I might as well get it from EE?

Barclays denied my finance application tried last night and thi morning and both denied, been on the upgrade program since the 11 Pro and always been approved, going to pay outright and try and reserve one on the upgrade program as well

Thankfully had the savings to buy outright so not the end of the world

For anyone interested….set up my iPhone 14 trade in with Music Magpie on Monday morning, posted Monday pm, they got it yesterday and they’ve paid me the quoted amount this morning. No problems there - could maybe have got a little more from UR or Twig but I’m not going to be at home for a while and didn’t what to get into a situation where it went wrong and the phone was returned to me.

I've recently closed my Barcalyscard because they wouldnt change my card over to rewards card and wanted me to file new application. I was so annoyed with them just ended up closing the whole account lol.

Will that have any effect on Loan application i.e if i go down that route and not upgrade my second iPhone via EE.

My credit score is in excellent shape.

I just dont like doing hard searches on my file lol.

Hi folks! Am very late to the party this year but thought I'd pop in to say hi and soak up some of the excitement.

Have been so busy organising trips to see bands (and spending lots of money on that) that I have been distracted that the announcement was imminent until a couple of days ago. Not planning an upgrade this year am still very happy with my 14 Pro Max but if I was then it would definitely be the Pro Max in Natural Titanium. But am not going to buy it!

No.

But hypothetically if I was considering who is was offering best trade in prices this year (post announcement now obviously )? I was never ever willing to part with the phone pre receiving the new one anyway.....

Looks like I wont be joining the launch party for the 15ProMax. My mate has just reminded me that he will order it for me with F&F discount, but it'll be 3 or 4 weeks before the phones go on discount.

In the meantime I've just ordered a AW Ultra2 for launch day pickup.

I tell myself it's only money

Completed by finance, which has been approved. So ready for the pre-order.

I actually planned to go to store this time and look at the colors etc - no rush style.
Well, that plan turned out well didn't it!

Hello, Can anyone confirm if the below is possible. Cant decide between 15PM Black vs Natural, want to do Barclays Finance, want to trade in my 11PM.

POA:
  • Order both Black and Neutral 15PM, don't declare trade in, pay in full from personal credit card
  • Collect in store and decide which one I want
  • Return unwanted one for refund
  • Return wanted one and purchase again instantly on finance and do the trade in
Will this work? Anybody done the same in previous years?

Yeah that’s my understanding. They credit the card that is attached to your store account
