Does anyone know what the crack is with PayPal?

It looks like I can use PayPal to buy an iPhone 14 but its not coming up as a payment option for the 15 pro max.

Hoping to use it for the 4 months interest free as I'll have it paid off in 2-3 months so the Barclays option seems overkill and probably hassle to pay off early

Here we go again got my preorder in for my Black 15 pro max. Pairing that with the Blue Apple case.

Just got to sell my 14 pro max now, will try and sell privately but if that fails will take it down to O2!
Sold mine on eBay, after a few idiots I got £775 for it with discounted fees (70% off) so came out with more than music magpie offered

Anyone got any experience with Repair Outlet? Locked in £750 for iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB on Monday morning so got until 25th September for the phone to reach them. They don't seem to be extremely well established compared to other recyclers (in terms of volume). My only previous experiences have been with BuyUR and WeBuyAnyPhone. Both positive. Only problem BuyUR is only guaranteeing the price for 7 days which is why I went with Repair Outlet. Curious to see if they pay up in full. So far they have sent a nice box out to me with a padded envelope and prepaid label so can't fault that, they also said I am welcome to pay for higher insurance shipping such as RM SD.

Guys, how are you getting rid of your old iPhones? Trade in? Facebook? I was gonna use Envirofone or whatever, seems I’ll get £700 for an iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb, just wondering if I can get more elsewhere.

Spigen products are up on Amazon including the EZ Fit screen protectors.

Brilliant! Thanks for this. Tried the EZ fit for my 14 pro for the first time last year and loved it. Will only ever use these screen protectors now

I go with the 24 monthly payments now as you have a lot more flexibility and you get a much better trade-in value from MusicMagpie as opposed to returning your old phone to pay off the balance. For example, I owe £654.48 for my iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB (12 months of £54.54), however MusicMagpie is giving me £720, which means I pocket that difference (£65.52).

Also, it means that I can order the new phone directly through the Apple Store, then even receive it and set it up whilst still holding on to the old one. Once everything is fully transferred over and I've compared the two phones, I send the old one back to MusicMagpie and pay off the remaining balance with Barclays.

I'm not sure about what would happen with Apple Care however...

How do you pay off with Barclays? Can you logon to your account or is it a phone then up job?

Can’t use PayPal until pre orders actually go live.

Well I’m a little late to the party here and not going to read through the previous 57 pages. I didn’t get around to joining this thread earlier. I look forward to all the banter, advice and people’s experiences.

I’ve potentially saved to preorders in the Apple Store App. Both for a Blue Titanium 15 Pro Max, one a 512GB and the other a 1TB model. I need to decide between now and Friday 1pm as to which one to get.

I’ve already preordered a ESR glass screen protector and two different ESR clear MagSafe cases on Amazon for delivery tomorrow. I’m hoping to get my iPhone preorder in early enough on Friday to have it delivered on release day.

This is the letter I received from Barclays when I set up my finance last night. I also had to supply my card details for the payment to clear the Barclays loan.
I will be ordering the Pro Max in blue on Friday.

Quick question for you all…

If you run through the pre-pre order and choose finance, can you change your order without going through it again?

I just cannot decide on colour… Natural, blue or black I love them all!

No, you have to start all over again.

Just add the card via Apple ID under payment and shipping.

Will she be available to verify i.e OTP or In App just in case.

Haha yeah; AVForums... Got banned from there for telling a few of the mods some home truths... They didn't like that (although everyone else agreed)...

Not a forum I'd frequent again...

I'll trade it in, makes life easier. Will have to wait till I'm back from Dublin though!
Got fed up with AVforums and found them a bunch of up themselves idiots

It looks as though you should be able to change the finish if needed:

“Changes and Availability

If you want to change the iPhone finish you selected, you'll be able to do so when pre-order starts. To change your selected model, AppleCare+ coverage or other features, delete your saved pre-order and start again. Doing so will also cancel your loan.

We'll remember your preferred iPhone and payment method for three days after pre-order begins. Availability will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis at that time.”
I think that’s only for outright purchases.

Yes you can change the colour on preorder day but nothing else because it can effect the price.
