I am officially out this year. After being on the fence, off the fence and on again. No criticism of Apple, but nothing to make me want to trade in a 14pro for a 15pro.
Thinking the same, although I’m tempted to get the new 14 Pro - the 15 non Pro!

I’m tempted this year to try the bigger screen, but would be happy with the 15 Plus.

Trade in/sell my 14 Pro, pay off 0% loan, get 15 Plus, cheaper monthly, and spec wise it’s very similar to the 14 Pro.

How'd people get on with pre-pre ordering and then selecting to add a gift card balance?

Just used one for the first time to try it out, bought a £50 one which with the 5% off cost £47.50, chose a case through EPP (Taupe Fine Woven ;)) which takes it from £59 down to £52.80

So paid £50.30 for the £59 case - A nice little 15% discount!

How do you buy the cards with 5% off?

Thanks

So I have done the Barclays 24 month loan on my 14 pro and done the same with my 15 pro. As I understand it, the trade in I get will pay off my existing loan which apple will take care of and start me with a new loan for the new phone ... BUT what if I don't hand my 14 pro in and I decided to sell to some one else giving me a better trade in price. What happens does any one know? Do apple pay off the old load then charge that amount to my card on my apple account. Or do I have to pay off the old loan ?

Guys, how are you getting rid of your old iPhones? Trade in? Facebook? I was gonna use Envirofone or whatever, seems I’ll get £700 for an iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb, just wondering if I can get more elsewhere.

MusicMagpie are offering £700 for the 256GB IP14PM / Apple only offer £635 for trade in

eBay are selling c£800-£850 currently 2nd hand/excellent condition; I may yet still go down this route as I've solid feedback/trusted seller, will just do it when the 80% selling fees are offered again, or the £1 selling fee offer comes live...

It's easier/less hassle to trade it in, but £100-£150 isn't to be sniffed at TBH!

I’ve pre-pre’d a 15 Pro Max in Blue but I’m on the fence on the colour I like the Natural and the white and the black lol

I’ve always had black or space grey so it may be time for a change this yearo_O

eBay has bigger risks on such high value items... whatever works though.

It can do; but I've never ever had any issues via eBay touch wood; I'm stringent about the selling and will cancel any 0 / low feedback bidders etc...

But generally I set a price and go for best offer; that usually works best for me and eBay managed payments is so much better than PayPal too... It clears within hours rather than PP holding onto your £££ because they feel like it etc

There are several options from Bank Transfer to paying over the phone by card. Send them a iMessage and they come back fairly quickly with the payment options and settlement figure

I have Barclays 0% currently. If I ask for a settlement will that include the AC+ as they probably expect me to be keeping iPhone?

So do I cancel the AC+ separate first by calling Apple, then ask Barclays for a settlement which should now be less?

Yes it will, you would need to cancel it first with Apple then they will inform Barclays to remove it

Hi,

it’s been a while since I got a new phone - currently on an 8 Plus 256gb.

I have completed the Barclays 0% and been approved for my 15 but I’m not sure if they are expecting me to sign the agreement PDF and then send the signed PDF back to them. As far as I can see they don’t mention that they need it returning but I would have thought that they would?!?!

Can anyone confirm please?

Thank you very much.

You don’t have to send anything back. Your should be good to go for pre order now!

So from what I can tell there's no way of pre-preordering if you're on the Upgrade Program?

This is the letter
My Apple Case order travelled from Hinckley all the way up North to Ryton.

And now it will travel back down to Yorkshire for delivery tomorrow.

Crazy
I've seen this before.
It's actually Ryton-on-Dunsmore near Coventry. Just 15 miles from Hinckley.

I’ve used gift card for full amount. Got £1300 with 5% off.

Just be mindful it will let you apply the balance to multiple preorders and will only take the money on despatch / collection.

Have you checked an eBay calculator to see what your actual profit would be?
