A lot more effort than in the past. Neither apps would load, errors when selecting to pay outright. Finally managed at 13:24 to sort one through safari on iPad.

Well that was a stressful 20 mins, but finally got in to the store and was able to complete my pre-pre-order.
This year am also pre-ordering a phone for the missus, so extra stress because initially I was being chivalrous and trying to complete her order first so that she gets hers next Friday.
But the longer I kept looking at that “Almost there” message, to closer I was getting thinking “sod it, I’m doing mine first!!”
Luckily, both ordered successfully and both ETA next Friday, so she’ll never know which one I processed first 🤣

Apps on Ipad Pro and Iphone 14 Pro didnt come back on till 1315, Internet page slightly earlier but didnt "recognise i had pre orders!"
Phone and iPad apps botrh crashed, couldnt get pre orders past first button click and finally order around 1322. Barclays wanted additional ID (I assume as this was a third 0% application with the first 2 pre pre orders sailing through). Thats done now via licence photos and now I will definatly be 2/3 wave of deliveries...... dunno why i put myself through this mess each time.

Absolutely dreadful this year wasn't it? Didn't get on until 1:10 and that was on my Mac. App on iPhone kept coming up with an error....
Took me until about 13:25 to get in. Delivery says 27 Sep - 2 Oct for me.
I'm having this problem. Order went through ok, but my bank app said payment declined. Thankfully the order is still there and it says awaiting payment. When I try and pay with a few other cards, it just hangs on the payment verification page.
Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled.
Shambles. Can only hope delivery estimates are conservative and phone arrives sooner (went for natural titanium, 128GB which was 2-9 October estimate by the time I got through).

Finally got an order in. App and website are still down for me on my phone so used the desktop.
22nd no longer available for delivery. They had collection but the Apple Store but being disabled and the store being in a fully padestrian area it’s a nightmare to get to. So I’ll have to wait the extra few weeks. As I wasn’t sure if someone could collect for you.

So it seems no more twitter integration on macrumours so had to create a new account on here, however i managed to pre-order 13:02pm and able to get 22nd sept for delivery. I got extremely lucky as then the error kept coming up and apple store went down again. I have my confirmation email from apple and see it in my order history so all good! Picked up Natural Titanium 256GB 15 Pro Max!

Since the first iPhone launch, that was the worst I’ve experienced. The first time I won’t be getting one on launch day. Such a crappy experience.
Ordered the Natural titanium 256gb. Gave up on app, ordered direct via the website on phone. Worked instantly, will be here next Friday 22nd!

Afternoon all, only just woke up a few mins ago and saw the time 
working nights this week. Pre order secured after a few attempts on the app (with eyes half closed) which looks like it’s **** the bed so used the website with no issue at all.
