I would go via Carphone warehouse if you can. Apple will probably just replace the screen and they will tell you to go to Apple but consumer law and all that
I had an appointment at the Apple store in Solihull earlier. Quick check of it and then just a straight swap. Apparently they are too new for a screen repair at the moment. The guy I spoke to did say they could write a report that I could give to Carphone Warehouse or it could be swapped there and then as there was one in stock. Couldn’t fault the service that was received. Also got them to apply the Belkin screen protector. Not cheap and took a couple of attempts but it lines up perfectly with the screen.
 
Still not dispatched. Apple took the money last Friday. Thought it might have been here tomorrow (25-30th)!
 
My John Lewis order for next batch, due for a 10th October delivery date, they are taking money tomorrow, its just appeared as a payment on my bank account. They said somewhere in the order process that they might come earlier than 10th. I ordered it on 21/9

Interesting, on my amex it got reserved on pre-order day.. But they didn't charge my card until an hour before DPD delivered today 🤣

My order is a bit odd; there’s two phones a watch and some AirPods. They authed all the money for the whole order, and took for the AirPods and one of the phones straight away. The other phone was taken on Friday, but not dispatched. The watch isn’t due yet.

Having this 80% charge limit is really nice. Not having to keep checking the percentage for when to unplug it and just leave it to do its thing.

Only charging it to 90-100% only when im going out so by the time I get home it'll will have dropped down to 50-80%

The phone has shipped. DPD for tomorrow :)
 
So the esim transfer was actually seamless. Best bet is to contact O2 via the chat and get them to send you the esim upgrade via the my o2 app. Literally clicked a button and it transferred straight away.
 
Has anyone got any experience with challenging Mazuma lowering the grade of their device?

Sent mine in and has been downgraded to a ‘good’ and dropped by £105.

I called them and they said they’ll send of pictures. The only one I have showing the screen is attached, however I don’t believe there were any scratches and I’d had a screen protector on until a week before the new phone arrived.

Did you manage to get anywhere with them? I sent my 15 pro to them yesterday. They were offering £530 but have said there are more than 5 light scratches on the casing so now offering £420!
I know the phone was in perfect condition - had a screen protector on and been in a case from day 1. Definitely was immaculate.
I have emailed them stating this but as I didn’t receive the new offer until 4:59pm, they haven’t got back to me yet.
 
Has anyone in the October 1st-8th group been charged yet? Mines still on processing and I haven’t been charged :(
