AO & Argos has a few iPhone 16 Pro (the smaller one) in stock this morning for anyone interested.


Desert Titanium in the Pro size (6.3”) look like they’re proving a bit of a hard sell 😂 John Lewis had them in stock for most of yesterday (128GB & 256GB didn’t look at the other storage sizes). They’ve still got 256GB.

Any updates to anyone’s EE orders at all? Really hoping I can get mine before Monday pm as I go away then.

Tried to speak to someone on chat but that was a waste of time as they said the iPhone launches on the 20th and won’t know until then 😂

I have been checking my EE daily and haven’t noticed anything until today!

If I go into the my EE app and tap on help at the bottom right, I now have a message stating.

“We're preparing your mobile order. Keep tabs on it here”

As mentioned, I haven’t seen it before today so maybe some movement…..
 
I'm still fighting the urge to not upgrade this year. I managed to find a put the new iPhone 16 pro wallpaper on so I feel like I've upgraded already 🤣

I have been checking my EE daily and haven’t noticed anything until today!

I had a bit of a nightmare with my order initially an hour after I placed it, my bank (Halifax) very kindly texted me to tell me an order had been placed using my card and they had taken the precaution to cancel the payment, not put it on hold, actually CANCEL it! This was after I had gone through the in-app verification during the purchase. I had to phone them to confirm my identity by taking a picture of my driving license and a selfie to confirm I was the person on the phone. Once that was done I had to stay on the phone for nearly 40 mins while it all cleared in their system and my account could be unlocked. Absolute nightmare.

So a couple of hours into pre-orders I had to re-place the order. My status is 'processing' and the delivery date still suggests the 20th, so not sure whether that will be true or not. Not particularly happy with my bank though, I have purchased much bigger things recently and not had this trouble.

I had the same problem, however my card provider, Barclays, only required a phone call to say I approved the purchase and I could then order again.

Yep same thing happen to me and other 2 person I know. We all get text to confirm Y or N. Obviously reply back Y and it was fine after that thankfully.
 
Anyone here ordered with Vodafone? I ordered 4pm on the day preorders opened (so 3 hours late) and the order page is currently showing as 3-4 weeks wait....

Anyone else gone from Pro Max to Pro? I am actually looking forward to the iPhone reviews to decide if I will go ahead with the upgrade. Currently have a 15PM.
Yes, I am going from 15 Pro Max to 16 Pro .... given camera's are the same this year and 'improved' battery - hoping the 16 Pro will be a better fit (physically) with less sacrifices (hardware) ..

I remember when I preordered the iPhone 12 I had a delivery window which was 3 weeks after release initially. Then the day before it went to 'shipped' and I got it on launch day. I sometimes think these estimates are just automated for into the future to prevent people clogging up the lines on launch day maybe?
 
Does anyone know how delivery is handled if you are not home on Friday? Will they drop it off at a neighbour? will they try again on Saturday? or will they try on Monday?

Well that's certainly put some wind back in my release day sails! Will try to expect nothing and hopefully be pleasantly surprised when it turns up on Friday.

I’ve ordered my wife a phone that didn’t have collection as an option, due to stock. Is there want possibility of being notified that they get stock? I’m asking because we are going there on launch day to collect my phone, which I did much earlier in the pre order.

The review embargo lifts at 6 pm today, right? The watch reviews are already out but there is only so much they can tell about the watch, so I’m waiting for the phone reviews…

My thinking too but I‘m likely waiting to see the reviews and also view the 6.3“ Pro in person. I might be wrong but I sense that it’s not going to be that difficult to source the 6.3” Pro this year. The Max will likely be a little more difficult.
