Is the 5G stand alone active now or is it just for some limited test run? It will be interesting to see if those who piggyback on EE will get it.
Only if you pay extra for it, is it enabled on EE, and none of the MVNO's have mentioned getting it yet...
Crossing all my fingers for DPD this time! Their depot is literally next door to Sycreon Technology. It must be pot luck as to whether DPD have enough capacity in every area so some get allocated to DHL instead…

I’m the other way. I’ve arranged to go INTO the office on Friday as going on the upgrade programme and Apple Store 20 mins from office.
iUP upgrades/exchanges are always in-store. Can reserve a handset online or via the app though when pre-orders go live.
I work from home permanently thankfully (annoying at Christmas as everyone uses me as the delivery depot) 😂
It'll be next week or week after before I see my 16PM as they'll come from the office in Dublin (I might be going across next week, so may pick it up if they've arrived)
It is active, but only in some big cities…. And as @mozzamobile says….. you have to have a plan that has it and they only came out at the end of August.

Im going to be sending the iphones off tomorrow RMSD, and will reach them on Thursday which is the 19th.
I created the 02.09.2024 so in theory gives me till the 23rd which is Monday.
When you contacted them and the extended by another 7 days, was it by Chat or Email, and had you already sent them already then contacted them?
Does anyone have any more recent experience than me (coming from a 12 Pro) regarding pre orders? Mine is currently saying ‘Your order is being processed’ with an EDD 25th-30th. Being the pessimist I am, I’m thinking if it doesn’t move preparing to ship late tomorrow or Thursday AM, there’ll be little chance of getting it on Friday. Do you guys and gals agree?
First time ordering direct from apple online, last time I bought direct from apple was the iPhone 7 Plus. My order is aying preparing to ship for delivery on Friday… any ideas when this is likely to show as shipped? My beats phone case and screen protector came today so I’m getting impatient and just want it to be Friday already 😂
Unfortunately it is unlikely you will get it on Friday. From experience if Apple gives you an EDD 25-30 you will get it on the 25, ie, on the first day of the period they give you for delivery. This is always the case, at least during the first weeks of a new iPhone being launched.
I wouldn’t hold your breath. I doubt you’ll get it any earlier but I think you’ve got a great chance of getting it on the 25th so only eight days to go.
Probably not until thursday. They’re only coming from Leicestershire so it will change to shipped at some point on Thursday.
I’m in same delivery timeframe, 25th-30th, don’t expect any movement till next week, I’d say payment be taken weekend/early next week and preparing to ship on Tuesday earliest.
Royal Mail would be better for me than DHL or DPD.! Always been later afternoon deliveries
DPD “lost” my 14 Pro so I’m hoping the same thing doesn’t happen this time! 🤞🏻
I’ve never had Royal Mail deliver an iPhone before, saying that though they do always deliver packages in the mornings. Back in the UPS days it was always very hit and miss for me.
That’s always my worst nightmare. Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen for any of us this year! 🤞🏼
