Oh the previous person had already got an X, I'm not sure how it would work with you. If you go to page 481 (17:40pm) there are posts there about it. maka344 is the person that did it

Not sure if anyone’s interested but I have an X in space grey 64gb I purchased from apple regent st on Friday, fully sealed available.
Happy to let it go for what I paid, but not willing to travel so you would need to collect from my work which is very close to Piccadilly station (west end) during business hours (9-6).
I bought a silver and my wife wanted the space, but after weekend of playing with mine she wants to stick with the 8+.
Hopefully this might be able to help someone having to get up at 6am to check stock levels!

I'm a previous IUP subscriber. Been trying all weekend to upgrade when stock has become available but keep getting an error on submission. Thought it was because I'm missing out on stock but tried it with an 8 and still getting the same messages. Call or chat to Apple tomorrow I think.

Is there anyone who uses the HSBC app know if Face ID works with it. I know it works with Touch ID to log on with previous iPhones that support it as it did with my 7 Plus but now I have an iPhone X I was hoping it would recognise the Face ID. Is HSBC not allowing Face ID to log on to their app ?

Any app that uses TouchID is automatically compatible with FaceID without requiring any changes. So your HSBC app will work fine.
This is true as I found out with TSB app. All you have to do is enable TouchID within the app and it will use FaceID when you log on.
My understanding is from reading another thread there are certain apps that have disabled the use of Face ID especially certain banking app so I'm not so sure if that is 100% true.
The Amazon app also supports Touch ID and allowed me to log into my orders using it on my iPhone 7 Plus. On my iPhone X Face ID doesn’t work as the alternative way and I have to log in the old fashioned way using user name and password.
