Same here, have an order for a 256GB silver one which is refusing to move at all, no matter how many times I refersh the order status page :)
 
It looks like my order has been delayed after problems with apple pay. Back to "Order in progress" now. 13-20

I got an email about the payment issue. Attempted to resolve it using the website but that would not work for me.

Phoned Apple and they said my payment is now fixed.


I had the same as the above but with PayPal, fingers crossed!

Pretty much same as mine, still processing here though... The longer this goes on the more annoyed I'm getting with the random order process and the less certain I am that I want it anyway given all the reports of issues. Screw this, if it hasn't prepared for dispatch / shipped by tonight they can keep their iPhone, I'll cancel and either revisit it in the New Year when they have stock and hopefully any initial production issues have been ironed out or keep my 7 until next year.

I have a 13-20, Order in Progress. SG256 but since placing the order turns out I want the Silver one which is pissing me off cause those seem to be completely out of stock everywhere...

Tested in store page, buy now button, iPhone goes to iPhone, AirPods to AirPods.
If you go to Live Map, then Filters, then select an iPhone X in any storage size or colour, the map just shows you AirPods availability (speaking of which, isn't the shortage over for those? Could probably be removed anyway).

I doubt we will see anymore being prepared for dispatched today. Sounds like all the stock has been allocated and dispatched. We know have to wait until next stock comes in... whenever that may be

You mean when the store pane opens you get the AirPods as default view and not iPhones ?
 
The way I managed to get a pickup, and the quickest possible way was:

1. Use Apple Store App. The website isn’t as quick
2. Go to the IUP page for the model, use the “learn more” text at top when you’re about to add to bag
3. Do the “join now” and select iPhone X
4. It will say come back at 6am, but if you keep pressing cancel and then reselecting iPhone X, eventually it will let you in once any model appears anywhere
5. Pick a model and location it doesn’t matter what
6. Do your two step auth
7. Add your mobile number
8. Select the time
9. Now it will tell you that you were too slow and you have to go back to select model, but we have now got set up and don’t need to do two step verification or mobile number
10. Now if you repeat the steps in app till get to step 5 and just change the colour every few seconds it refreshes stock live
11. Wait till store and model appears that you want then you can breeze straight through reservation


I must have done steps 10 and 11 in less than 20 seconds from it going live because I managed to get it.

My preorder for 13-20 is still processing (256GB Silver)

Well whatever it is, it's counterintuitive. You go to live map. You select the product you want. You select a store on the map. You get AirPods.

(To be fair I've never really been able to get my head around the iStockNow website layout so it's probably just me who doesn't get it.)
 
Quick question, if my payment card doesn't go through, will they notify you to change the payment details or you lose your order?
 
Any update for anyone regarding Argos orders? I ordered for delivery on the 4th still yet to receive. Now states between 8th-24th? Has anyone got any more information about it
Hi in regards to the Argos orders, I have spoken to a customer service advisor who of which spoke to a manager. They said that the iPhone X's are in their warehouse. They said that people who ordered on the 3rd of November should expect their devices to come tomorrow and people who ordered after that should expect it to come on the 24th of November or little earlier.

I also had another guy mention that the stock should arrive on the 10th of November and should be delivered on the 13th of November but the customer service advisor who I spoke to did speak to a manager who deals with the iPhone X orders and they said that it should arrive tomorrow - If it doesn't I will definitely call back but the way she spoke to me seemed she wasn't in doubt. Hopefully we get text messages sent today :).

I mean there is conflicting information but I fully trust the customer service advisor as she seemed more legit and the other guy wasn't 100% sure. The last person i spoke to was the customer service advisor.

And for people who haven't got their compensation despite keeping their orders with Argos - Once your device comes, call back Argos to get your compensation.

Yes, we know UX isn't great and are working on a whole new version which will ease things.
