I will use this opportunity to tell you all of what happened when i ordered my first every iPhone (an iPhone 4).

I was at the time, replacing all the floor boards in the downstairs of my house. I was also removing all the old plaster (it's a 2 foot thick stone wall house) so it was quite a dusty environment, so had my windows open.

Anyway, the next day i was scoping out all the bits of broken plaster etc from the foundations of my house when i came across a box. Turned out the delivery driver had just chucked it through my open window and it had fallen into the sub floor.

Good job i didn't have some brainless monkey doing the sweeping up for me!

Just checked my orders and both the Series 4 Watch and XS Max have been dispatched with DPD for delivery tomorrow. Different to last year, as if I recall correctly my X came direct from China. This is ordering direct from Apple and delivering to Essex, by the way.

49GB in the last 2 years. Got blazing fast Wifi at work and home. Just upgraded to 100gb data a month as well as CW and O2 wouldn’t give me any less

I use a corporate SIM with a 5gb per month limit. Since July '17 I've used 43GB. I'm mostly at home or office, both with good WiFi. There's no way I'd be able to get near 100GB in a month. :)

I’m jealous of all the dispatch notifications!

Got my slot in Newcastle at 8am tomorrow morning for the iUP. Anybody else going to Newcastle?

Just a word of warning, if you have problems with UKMail, their support is dreadful. Just tried to contact their support number about something and it is one of them automated voice thingy's and you have to press a number of key combinations to get through to a human (I still haven't)

WFH today, the ESR snug fit clear case just arrived along with one of a slew of glass screen protectors (pack of 2) on Amazon.

My Max is not turning up tomorrow, the reverse is the case for me as I need to be at work for the delivery; 24th-1st

I’m sure someone’s said it already, but please DO NOT post your tracking IDs or screenshots containing tracking IDs, consignment numbers, order IDs etc.

It happened with both the X and the 7 - people were too eager to share this information, perhaps without even realising, and with this information people were able to change delivery dates and even delivery addresses.

I've had amazon logistics once deliver a vase when I was out by throwing the box over the side gate o_O

needless to say it was in quite a few more pieces than it should have been

Oh god, Amazon Logistics are the WORST. Honestly, they hire any hobo with at least 2 functioning brain cells, give them a PDA and off they go. 2 parcels have gone missing despite me putting very clear instructions in capitals. They're drivers are useless! I used to love Prime before they used Logistics.

God help us if Apple decided to use Amazon Logistics to deliver our brand new tech on release day!!
