Other UK iPhone (2018) XS/XS Max/XR Pre-Orders and Dispatch Thread

I had separate Apple orders (watch immediately after the phone) the phone is coming via DPD, the watch is UK Mail. I'm having them both delivered to work, so they usually have a daily slot for visiting the offices typically between 1pm and 3pm - It's gonna be a painful day at work once I know its arrived, I reckon I'm going to aim to get to work around 8am (instead of 10am) so I can do my hours and leave at the earliest opportunity if its already arrived that is - my manager is nice though, he knows how excited I am about Apple deliveries, he'll probably send me home once he sees the boxes on my desk LOL

For those who have dispatched notifications on O2, what time did you order? Mine went throughout before 8am but still says in progress.

Hi Guys, sorry if this isn't the right thread. I pre-ordered my XS as an upgrade on the IUP to collect in store, I may not be able to make my allotted time, but when I click on manage my reservation it doesn't give me the option to change time slot, can this be done ?

Good XS max dispatched here realised I’m on holiday until Sunday..... So have re delivered it for Monday with DPD, always impressed with there time slots, will be something to look forward to when I get back

yup, when I did the IUP upgrade last Friday, I chose the store and time and was confirmed a Friday pickup.. thats what shows on my reservation.

I think you have to cancel and rebook. If you're late they may keep it to the end of the business day, but don't have to. I forgot my driving licence two years ago and they let me go home and come back (2 hour round trip) - said it wasn't guaranteed, but it was fine.

I love DPD but no idea about UK Mail.. would rather it the other way around. Do they provide hour delivery slots?

UK Mail provide delivery slots. They are a good courier, they deliver for my business

My iPhones have always arrived before the delivery slot email, when delivered by UKMail.

Yeeeeees!!!! DPD dropping mine @ 11am, glad is not UKMail, and much better than UPS.

I’m hoping that because they said it will arrive by the 29th, that they’d hold until the 30th?

Presumably, they hold it until COB on Saturday 29th anyway, so if I’m there 1st thing when they open on Sunday 30th, it should in theory, still be there?

Just had the DPD dispatch confirmation, arriving tomorrow - sent from Vodafone. I’m getting the 64gb gold XS, coming from a 64gb SE. Excited!
