Here’s my update, I’m on EE

iPhone xs max 256, had a text to say plan has changed, they’ve removed my upgrade add-on and they’ve dispatched my phone

44mm watch - had nothing at all

40mm Watch - had email to say it was on its way

when I check tracking they’ve all been dispatched although the order have now vanished from my EE

also, nothing showing on DPD app

EDIT: scratch that, had to remove my number and re-add it to the DPD app and it’s now showing, only one mind

Same here with regards to the EE changes. I had no issue with the DPD app though as I use it regularly. I wouldn't be surprised if your phone and watches are part of the same package, hence only one tracking entry.

My phone is now headed to my local depot (Stoke), however I've just driven past it and the roads are horrendous and flooded thanks to the storm which is raining relentlessly and has been since midday. I wouldn't be surprised if some people's deliveries are missed by the trucks having difficulty overnight.

BEFORE you erase all, you need to deregister your device from iCloud, by removing 'Find my iphone'.
Settings/icloud..

....no you don’t.

The Erase All Content And Settings does all that - it erases ALL accounts on the device and ALL settings.

In every upgrade I have done on every iPhone, not once have I ‘deregistered the device from icloud’, as you put it - it’s simply not required.

I did see a few pages back an order for 24 Sept - 1 Oct delivery was charged by Apple this morning but declined and was contacted by his bank in case it was suspicious, then had to update payment.

I'll just sit and wait as i refuse to go to the other retailers who claim they have stock, then if issues arise they fob you off, lol.

I ordered last week and had date of 24-1st and I got fed up reading that everyone was getting phones tomorrow. I have now ordered sim free from Carphone Warehouse and I will get it tomorrow. Once I get it I’ll cancel Apple and buy AppleCare.

Oh, great. Let us know how it goes, I spoke with them but couldn't do it.

Slightly off topic, but is anyone else feeling slightly guilty about upgrading? I'm coming from an X to an XS Plus. Upgrading for the screen size mainly as I love that massive display.. Trying to justify it in my head :rolleyes:
