UK Mail has finally updated their tracking system and my new iPhone is in their Glasgow Depot just 12 miles away. :) Here’s hoping my new iPhone doesn’t go on a mystery tour of Glasgow and surrounding areas before it gets delivered?! o_O

what do do you use to get the live updates then? I havnt had an update since 1am ish
I don’t have live updates, I clicked the link in the text and it took me to their site - all it says is “Out for delivery”.

Maybe I’ll get a text shortly with a delivery slot? Who knows!?

My phone is at the local DPD Depot which is only 7 miles away :)

All I pray for is that Barry my usual driver isn't off today, so I stand a good chance of getting my phone on his first drop between 8:30 - 9am!

Mine hasn’t even shipped and I’m 24th 1st window! Hopefully they catch up over the weekend and start moving.

Damn! Thought they would have shipped by now, guess they won’t dispatch until today ready for Monday. Which means mine probably won’t ship til Monday. The excitement is too much, I want it already! :)

Exactly the same here.. I definitely don't need the phone, only had my X for just over 10 months..
I'm justifying it that because I'm going from iup to an O2 contract and I've a friend who works for O2 that gets me 50% off the airtime part it actually works out £3 a month cheaper than Im currently paying

....no you don’t.

The Erase All Content And Settings does all that - it erases ALL accounts on the device and ALL settings.

In every upgrade I have done on every iPhone, not once have I ‘deregistered the device from icloud’, as you put it - it’s simply not required.

Oh.
In that case, could you let Apple know so they can update their support pages.
Cheers!

Slightly off topic, but is anyone else feeling slightly guilty about upgrading? I'm coming from an X to an XS Plus. Upgrading for the screen size mainly as I love that massive display.. Trying to justify it in my head

Yes. Even when I went to bed last night I was undecided. In the end it’s come down to that I’ll probably decide in the next ten months I need a new one (battery on my X is already terrible) and I’m on the iUP so I may as well.
