The Buchanan Street store are pretty close to useless. Spent 45 minutes with them trying to process an IUP upgrade to tell me that they're having a system issue and would I mind popping back later.

I appreciate that it's a launch day and things happen but that store really is hitting the skids with their customer experience.

Can someone help me with the maths on my 256GB 8+ iUP?

I’ve made 11 payments (12th about to come out).

I’ve got £565 locked in at a Music Magpie and I’m trying to work out what will be outstanding to Barclays if I cancel Applecare +?

I never realised how crappy my speeds are. I not a fan of contracts so a giff gaff gal. It might be time to change.

Those speeds aren't necessarily bad...granted that nowadays you can achieve download speeds of 100mbps DL on mobile. But it all depends on your area, positioning of mast, backhaul to the mast (whether its fibre or microwave etc) and capacity. To put in perspective my home broadband is 5mbps DL max & 1mbps UL (still waiting for Openreach to sort FTTP lol). Source - I work for a mobile network.

Other thing to note; GiffGaff have the lowest network priority. Ie if an area is very busy - O2 Customers will have best Service, then Tesco Mobile and then GiffGaff..

Popped into my Three store to see if they had any news on my XS Max 256 SG which was due to be picked up today. Very annoyingly they said that it definitely wouldn't be there today, and that it could be anywhere up to 5 Oct before it arrived. Crazy!

So.....I popped down the road to the Apple Store and bought an XS Max 256 SG on my card, and will return it when Three pull their fingers out and my phone arrives :) Plenty of stock in the Apple Store in Bath if anyone is interested in just turning up!
That’s naughty.

That 3 for you own rules own speeds own customer service.
Once I had a three store staff shouting at the three uk customer service over a messed up contract price plan it was funny to be honest the store staff cannot understand the customer service on the phone he said this is wasting my time. (That was in Leeds branch last year) ahahaah

Disagree. They're awesome with me. IUP issues are usually Barclay's doing - not Apple's.
