Can someone help me with the maths on my 256GB 8+ iUP?

I’ve made 11 payments (12th about to come out).

I’ve got £565 locked in at a Music Magpie and I’m trying to work out what will be outstanding to Barclays if I cancel Applecare +?
Call Barclays on 0800 1522888 I did this morning without any account details and they gave me a balance.
I called Apple first to cancel my Apple care which they will credit to the Barclays account.

Yeah I’ve upgraded from the X and the OLED screen on that was okay. It had the colour shift a slight bit but nowhere near the extremes of this new iPhone XS Max. I seriously mean it when I say the whole screen is full-on pink when you move it literally a few millimetres.

For a £1,099 phone, I think I need a better screen then that. :(
I’ll take it to the Apple Store on Monday and see what they say.

I also have the Max and I'm not seeing what you're describing.

reading the post from yesterday my god he uses 600gb each month wonder why other networks don't offer unlimited data its suicide for any business.
He'd have to be streaming about 200h per month of HD Netflix to run that up, so unless he doesn't have a job I can't see he's really using that much. Maybe if he's watching a lot of 4K, but don't think Netflix etc. will stream 4K to a phone will they?

Or maybe he hotspoting nonstop via 3 binge Netflix.I used that few times to my smarttv rack up data like no tomorrow plus you still have all your usage hotspot allowance at the end of the month.
Only takes you a couple of 4k movies each night via hotspot to hit that.

....regarding the Apple Leather cases - was gonna go for the blue Cape Cod colour but looking at this in store, it was literally just like Baby Blue and was far too light for my tastes.

Midnight Blue is also too dark so went with Forest Green which I love, which weirdly, does look blue in some light?!!

so the 8+ 256 was £949 at launch? apple care was £149?

so total was = £1098 minus £69 up front so loan was for £1029

monthly payment = £1029/20 = £51.45

you've made (or about to ) 12 payments = £51.45 * 12 = £617.40

loan left = £1029 - £617.40 = £411.60

Apple care = £149, you've paid 12/20 of it so far = £89.40

estimated apple care refund due = £59.60

so if you sell for £565 you'll have around £352 to pay off leaving you £213 better off!

According to the DPD app, my phone has yet to leave the depot.. The delivery is to a Pickup Shop (whole other story there) so hopefully is a later shop delivery route soon. Anyone else on a DPD Pickup Shop?

Lordy, not only provision of useful delivery information but accountancy as well. You need to charge for this jinjin. ;)

Same here. Though they’ve now delayed it until tomorrow. So they may be prioritising home deliveries today

This is why I took a chance at the store prior to work, The phones at times get mistreated (thrown all over the place, some drivers don't deliver, phones go missing etc) Prefer DPD but on a day like this nothing is certain until in your hands and some deliveries are bound to have issues.

Hopefully everyone expecting their devices today receive them.

Will do both at same time. Barclays will just refund me the money after a few days anyway if I cancel AppleCare after and the refund doesn’t reach them straight away.

I rang Apple the other day in regards to AppleCare refund and he basically said no.

How are you going to approach it? I’m one short of offering you £20 to ring them for me
