Just want to give a shout out to jinjin for not only starting this thread but giving his time to answer questions I had about the upgrade programme. Prop to you sir!

Cheers but plenty on here sharing good advice. The UK thread is and has always been great for it.

I should make IUP my chosen specialist subject. Will have to remember all the questions and update the first post faqs. Will have forgotten it all in 11 months

anybody ever not get their apple order? I was abroad (bought an iPhone xs Mac from Italy) and the one shipped from apple store uk, was signed for by a ''Daniel'' which is clearly not me?

what can I do? waiting for 9am to call apple and investigate.

Did it get delivered to a neighbor?

I tried ordering through Carphone Warehouse last night but they cancelled my order with no explanation. I'm going to call them to try and find out why. Is it worth bothering with them or should I just order directly from Apple? The reason I tried CWH was they claimed to have them in stock and advertised next day delivery including Sundays.

Once I actually get one this will be my first ever iPhone :).

I haven’t opened mine yet so I’m going to complain to amazon on the chat this morning and see what they do.

The £50 one on Amazon is sold via a marketplace seller and only fulfilled by Amazon so im not sure they can do anything.

I bought a £9 RavPower one and it works flawlessly, even with my Apple leather case on. its only 5W but thats fine for charging through the night.

Most Apple stores in the UK have stock of most configurations - you will be able to walk-in and out within 15 minutes. You can reserve for collection at your local store too via the Apple website.

So I spoke to amazon and they offered me a £10 credit to my account as good will. I also complained that the charger turned up a day late and I got a free month of amazon prime so not too bad.

I’m off to collect my Max! :D
