Are you guys sure you can reserve on line for pick up in store for IUP. I checked mine from 2 years ago and got this all says go in store. No mention of reservation on line for pick up.
there's ~650 pages of last years thread to look through!

check the first reservation for an X last year: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ispatch-thread.2065306/page-242#post-25286771

It’s almost that time again, folks.

I *think* I’ve decided. I’m going for the XS Max 256gb in Space Grey and the SS Watch in Space Grey.

I’m due upgrades with EE - alas I’m in Canada at the moment, so I need to be ready at 3am over here. Eek.

Saw EE’s landing page. It looks like they’re pushing a 100gb tariff? I have little need for 100gb - but I need to be on a “Max” plan which includes the U.S. and Canada roaming.

With dual SIM, is roaming as much of a concern any more? :)

Deffo going with 64gb Space Grey XS.

Think I am ready:

  • Saved link to exact size and colour on iPad home screen.
  • Have AppStore App on phone with the device saved in favourites.
  • Have updated Payment Card details on Website and Double checked the changes carried over to the app.

Will be refreshing Website and App and go with whatever goes live first. Hoping The first screen I see isn’t saying “Delivers October 28th” like I had one year. I was miserable as hell for days :D

It would be great if we had dual-SIM but we’re only getting eSIM for the secondary SIM. Or have I misunderstood?

Plus, I don’t know how eSIM would work when travelling? Could someone from the U.K. travel to e.g. Canada and avail an eSIM on arrival?

I suppose once it’s set up (and given you can “stack” eSIMs) it could be quite convenient and simple. But I’m sure the initial setup will have a few hurdles even if the scenario is possible e.g. I’m sure U.S. carriers aren’t just going to hand out physical/eSIM cards to non-U.S. residents without security checks?

However, only EE (and now Vodafone) are supporting cellular Apple Watch so I’m sticking with them. EE’s Max Plan supports full inclusive roaming in the U.S. and Canada and it just works.

I’m torn between max or standard xs!!!! I do like the size of my X currently.

I do have big hands and owned plus models before however that was mostly due to them having more features...

Is it the same size as the current plus models?

The Max is slightly shorter but not much in it.

This was me last night. Settled in sticking with the XS size... get the feeling it will be up to the wire until I actually order to decide

Morning all. I’m ready and waiting for 02, considered EE and Vodafone because of the watch support but neither of those networks provide decent coverage where I live. So sticking with o2.

They have new flexible plans so going to do the Xs Max handset over 3 months and choose my data bundle. Looked at the 360 renders on o2, defo getting gold :)

Good luck all!

Good luck everyone, I hope that you get exactly what you are after with delivery / pick up next Friday.

I hope I'm not wrong but I have a feeling that there will not be any difficulty this time around.

Best to keep ending apple store app and re-opening, or just leave and wait for it to refresh itself and go live???

So do we have a link for in-store reservations for new iUP sign-ups?

I’ll do my upgrade in app but really want to secure one for the missus.
