Ya me too. I went from 7 Plus to X and loved the smaller phone but bigger screen. My heart says I want a max because bigger screen is always better, but my head says XS is a better device for me. Even though, realistically I’m not even sure X>XS is even worth it.

Exactly mate. 100% same here!

Ordered an XS in silver, 64GB, coming from an iPhone 7 128GB. I haven’t even used 30GB of my 7 so didn’t feel like the jump to 256 was remotely worth it.

First time I’ve ever ordered on release day, too :D

Now the long wait until the 21st! :(

Word for word, exactly the same as me, I feel so guilty spending £999 on a phone but it has to be worth it. Going travelling so the camera will be perfect for it.

Just a thought - do we know if with the max it has the ability to double tap anywhere to bring the screen down like you can with the pluses?

One thing i just want to check, when i placed my pre-order it asked for the 3 digits of my bank card, im definitely not going to get charged until i pick up am i?
I ordered the Xs 64GB. I checked my credit card online and could see Apple has made two pending transactions of £1 - which will never clear. They just need to check your card details are genuine and correct at this stage. My available balance is the same as before, less the £2.

This is different with the new X and Xs. You basically swipe down at the bottom of the screen. Very easy and you will get used to it quickly.

Yes, you can (according to several of the hands-on reviews from the event).

Reachability is still a feature but it is just a different type of swipe downwards now as there is no button

XS Max 512GB SG with launch delivery.

Good job there was plenty of stock because I made a mess of ordering this year. App loosing my delivery address. Not having my CVC number handy.

I'm currently on a Sim Only Three Plan paying £14 a month. I was going to go on the iUP and pay £68.90 a month for the phone

I've just signed up for an EE plan for £70 all in (after discount), which is cheaper than what I would have been paying per month, although I'm debating whether I've done the right things as I haven't locked in a phone contract for a long time. What do you guys this?

That’s what I am now doing
Gonna order a EE sim deal so £20 a month with my staff discount.
About £100 cheaper over the 2 years from a EE contract but at least I ain’t tied down for 2 years.
Can always sell it and get next years model

Personally I hate being tided into a contract as I always change my iPhone every year, as long as you dont mind now having the next newest model then its fine, I just prefer having the hefty upfront of the handset and then my sim only £16 a month

sweet... XS gold 256GB IUP upgrade and series 4 watch done!.. both being picked up at the same time in Bromley

...what time is your pickup slot as I'm also at Bromley!?! We'll have to hold up placards with our names, so we can recognise each other!!!!!:p:D

Mine is 09:00 to 09:30 but I'll probably get there as soon as the store opens as last time, I was seen way before my reservation slot!

Once again the app wins, website is still down for me but app up and running for a good few minutes now. Nothing sold out yet though so hang in there everyone!

...yep, Apple Store App is the way to go!!!

Weird because I managed to get one (in fact I ended up getting two by accident - but will need to cancel one).. Did you use the iOS App ? As that is always the fastest way..

Yeah I did flicked through every option and was selecting my time slot to collect, I thought I was safe so I took a moment to think about when I’d be able to drive into town as I’m working on the 21st and all weekend. Seconds later I picked a slot and it said all stock in this store gone, thrown me the 10 closest stores to me and they are all sold out of the 64gb max too.. so annoyed at myself and annoyed for being annoyed over a phone

Agreed I don’t like the 24 month tie.

I will try for the iUP this year I think.

Anyone know when they’ll open up Saturday reservations? That would suit me better than Friday
