Turns out they sent it to the wrong frickin depot. So it's being sent to Croydon and won't be delivered until tomorrow. TNT ftl

Mine says that for the TNT International tracking, yet the .co.uk one says out for delivery.

Will just have to wait and see.

Strange as the Bermondsey depot is about two miles away. Yet when I did a "nearest" depot it gave me Croydon, which is eight miles.

... I just got mine delivered (Surrey). I'm 42 going on 12. Last time I was like this was waiting for my Sinclair Spectrum... which never arrived. This thing has knocked 30 years off me!

One thing that comes across in this thread today is that most people seem more excited about TNT/UPS handing them a brown cardboard box than they are about the iPad inside

BTW, who else thinks that Apple's packaging (not the brown outer box ) is almost an art-form? Certainly more aesthetical than a pile of bricks that passes for art these days

Unfortunately I am at work and my iPad is at home so it will be a couple of hours before I get to play with it but I am just so happy that I have my iPad to look forward to when I get home

According to UPS mine arrived at home at 10:30 but I've been out at work all day, so my mother must have taken it in. It's under my sisters name who lives abroad-borrowed her credit card-, so I hope she didn't open it (told her not to).

My 64GB 3G, case, camera connection kit and O2 sim arrived in Knutsford at 14:22 via UPS. I've been working on syncing it up. I've got my apps, books and podcasts on it. I've also setup email via Google Sync. It took a bit of effort to get multiple calendars setup using Google Sync but I managed it following these instructions. I'm currently syncing ~3000 photos from Aperture then will get to work on TV shows and movies.
