UK order updated today 21st to SHIPPED!!

For those of us with TNT China orders that have a delay due to holiday message on the tracking, I reckon its because the parcels are to go to Hong Kong and they had the following holiday:

21 May Lord Buddha's Birthday.
 
Is anyone elses tracking number showing incorrect information? Mine's showing as a package that's already been delivered in Greece...

Mine still hasn't shipped :(

ipad 32gb wifi only and case ordered may 10th 12:22am.

It still says preparing to ship on the us site.

When I preordered, I was told there had was a bit of trouble with the credit card processing but it went through ok eventually. If they take money out, put it back then withdraw again, like some of you say, could there still be problems when they try to take it again? If
so would it even advance to "preparing for shipping"?
 
It would be nice if mine went into preparing to ship. It's sat there unchanged. Mocking me :(

I'm so looking forward to getting it. I commute to work by train. It's about 50 minutes each way. My Kindle and iPhone have been lifelines to sanity for reading, music and the net. The seats are a bit too cramped to use even a netbook properly but an iPad is going to be just right.
 
Mine shipped earlier via ups earlier in 2 packages one for ipad one for accessories.
 
I think the lack of order status changes to 3G ipads are due to the them coming with the micro sim already placed inside the iPad before it is boxed packaged and than shipped. That reason as well as probably the time people ordered and got confirmations. So I guess 3G ipads have slightly longer process before they are shipped?

That's not Apple's style - they don't like people getting products before the official launch day for that particular country. I expect they have asked the couriers to hold delivery until Friday.

Yes! I thought I was the only one, but I'm guessing some tracking numbers have gotten recycled somehow. I don't have my e-mail yet and my UK account page doesn't provide a tracking number, so I'm using the one from the US page, which tracks (on the TNT UK site) as delivered in Greece back in March sometime. :eek:

Seems they've sent my e-mail now, and the UK page is finally showing tracking info, with a different number - but still not tracking on TNT, I suppose this is the correct info now but will be some time until it enters the system properly.

We should raid the UPS and TNT depots on Thursday :D
 
Just got my shipping notification email and its saying "delivered by 6 June" despite it having always said "delivered by 28 May" prior to shipping. Hmm.

EDIT: could be because I've got a MBP on the same order, although I've just checked and it has a different tracking number to my iPad and iPad gear, so could be I'll be getting my iPad on the 28th and my MBP the following week at latest.
 
My iPad 3G 64Gb + Dock + O2 sim has been shipped.

Got the email detailing it and the tracking information :)

If you followed the US launch, some people did get their iPads the day before launch. This might not have been Apple's intention, however it did happen.

I got my email this morning, but from previous experience with tnt shipping they come on a long and winding route...

Let's hope they come early anyway tho!

p.s. I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Live in the UK and ordered my 64gb WiFi on the 10th, got dispatched today (22nd) recieved an email with a tracking number. Put the tracking number on TNT international tracking and it was collected today and has a pick up date of 25th, anyone know what the pick up date is?
 
Well, despite the TNT site saying the pick-up date is the 24th, it now says its been collected and is in transit :confused:

My 32GB 3G + wifi model with case, camera kit, dock and O2 sim is now prepared for shipment according to the US Store. OHMYGOD.
 
32GB WiFi iPad, Case & Keyboard dock confirmed as shipped a/o 17:08 GMT, May 22nd. Order placed at 10:08 GMT, May 10th.

I'm guessing tracking information won't propagate into TNT's system until Monday.

Choked on my drink when the email popped up in Mail. :D
 
Good to know it's on the way. Details I have are that it is shipped, that it's UPS, and that it should be delivered on or before the 28th.
