My iPad hasn't arrived at the local dept, from Northampton yet eek!.
I'm also getting a book delivered by hdnl, sods law I bet that turns up first.

Have you synced it with the Dashboard widget? I believe it's actually the Mac that's doing the checks: the Dashboard widget updates regularly and when there's a change, it pushes the notifications through to the phone.

Lowest setting on the dashboard widget is once per hour I think.
 
Woohoo it's already in my local depot. gonna call them up tomorrow morning for rough delivery estimate. otherwise, i might collect it at the depot myself, 15 mins walk away anyway.

My TNT delivery has "destination depot" as Stansted :confused: that is definitely NOT the closest TNT depot to my house.. I have no clue why they would put it there that means if I do get a delivery tomorrow it will be very late in the day :(

Do you think we'll get delivery today (27th) mate? Just when I spoke to TNT the person said apple had asked for a hold until the 'official launch date' and to call at 8:30am today and they would have a better idea.

It seems there is a good chance we will get deliveries on 27th. I spoke earlier to TNT lady and she told me my item is on track to deliver on 27th. My apple order status tracking shows delivery "27th" after my item got to the stansted depot my apple order updated to

"In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule"

So I would hope it is coming today :eek: but she did tell me to call in the morning to be 100% sure so just have to wait and see! Can't believe I am actually typing that my ipad is coming today I have waited so long for this day!!!!!! I think I'll be holding on to my iPad all day when it first comes lol take it with me everywhere I go! I even seen on youtube a waterproof case for iPad to use in the shower :D

Which depot is yours at? and with TNT or UPS? Mine is TNT in bloody Stansted!! I live in west london there are like 5 TNT depots closer to my house :rolleyes:

Guess it's safe to assume I'll receive it today.
Frankfurt is a 4 hours drive, or 1 hour by flight.
Yay!!! Gonna have to reschedule all my appointments and go get some sleep now.

Fingers crossed!! I'm exactly the same I feel like a child again xD when i see a TNT van pass tomorrow imma be stuck to the ceiling. All of this is kinda reminding me of the scene on Charlie and the chocolate factory where the vans leave the factory packed with wonka bars excepts its TNT vans packed full of iPads :drules:. not long now :eek:
