The apple website has updated to 'Out for Delivery'. I really think apple should stick to making consumer electronics as their tracking is just awful. Anyway, I hope its right for a change.

BTW, turns out that tamworth is my local depot where my iPad will be loaded onto a van for delivery, no more updates for me until the morning.
Yay it has just shipped. and according to apple it should arrive today - anyone else get same day shipping?
TNT website was showing mine as being at my local depot. Phoned it up and Asked the chap if I could collect it in the morning as their depot is almost next to where I work.
He was an absolute star and said I could. Some things to note though:
- The reference number can't be used to find the parcel but he did find it by looking at the round
- Someone at your address needs to be in; they won't deliver to neighbours
- They are delivering iPad Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- To collect you need to take your driving licence or passport
UPDATE:
mine is now showing as "Hold in Warehouse" online!!
Get ringing them now if you can collect in the morning!!

Had great fun yesterday evening alternately buying iPad apps and following all the iPads' journeys across the country to their destinations on this thread.

My phone just went mental with Push Notifications from Delivery Status Touch.

anyone have an idea how i would go about tracking my package on the ups site as the tracking number that apple gives doesnt work on the ups site
