I'm in the same boat as you bigjnyc. I am backing everything on iCloud, and then once you're on 12.1.1 you should be able to download everything except text messages?

Thats the thing I dont think you can restore from iCloud backup... So while you'll get your contacts, imessages, etc. by signing in to iCloud... I think you will lose your settings and installed apps, etc...

Ok, the iCloud back up took a long time with the pictures. I'm restoring to 12.1.1 b3 right now.

So you were able to downgrade and then restore from a saved icloud backup?

Edit* alright I’m downgraded, it was actually very quick and easy. I just downloaded the IPSW file. In iTunes I clicked on option + check for update and selected the file. It just ran it as a regular update without restoring so all my stuff was left intact.

This could be because I was already on a beta software though.

In the past when I jailbreaked my iPhones airplane mode wasn’t necessary but I’ve read this time to enable it before jailbreaking my iPhones on iOS 12. Can I have WiFi enabled as well? Or is that a given that the jailbreak needs an internet connection? Thanks

Yes, wifi can be left on.

B39 saying expires in 6 days
I’m assuming it’s because ignition is used directly on your phone and impactor requires a computer to use. I’ll be using ignition instead of tweakbox
Can’t we use the ReProvision tweak to resign? It’s in this repo source: repo.incendo.ws

I have two iPhone 6 both on iOS 12.1.1beta. How can uncover say one is supported and the other is not? I’m baffled.

Thx for that so better to get it off ignition then

ignition is just a signing service, so they are signing it rather than yourself. I don't know how long they sign it for but it is pretty much doing exactly the same thing as cydia impactor.
