Same, its been quite unstable until recently I have found. Probably a mix of it being in beta and loads of the tweaks not being fully supported on ios12. Things are improving though.

Underneath the error message it says, “Product Version = 12.1.4”

Have they changed it. When jailbroken if I opened unc0ver it use to say rejailbreak.
Mine is saying jailbreak but Cydia is opening fine

I may have just gotten lucky, but none of my banking apps are giving me any issues right now.
That's because Cydia is not installed yet, most apps trigger on that...
For that reason I'm waiting for Cydia and Liberty lite, I want to make sure I have that installed before starting any critical apps, some apps remember a JB state and after that refuse to open regardless of any installed bypasses

You have to play around with which apps you want them enabled for
I have the refresh icon on safari but enabled it in only eclipse I think
Those are going to be my first 2 tweaks as soon as the full A12 JB is released... promptly followed by a volume HUD tweak.
Just updated to b46 on my iPhone 7+ 12.1. Cydia Impactor gave error 42, so I used Ignition.fun and it loaded on the first try and was super fast.

There is a problem with signing Unc0ver via Impactor on Apple’s side at the moment which leads to the 42 error, like you said using Ignition to sign it is the recommend workaround for the moment
