Try mixing functions:
Try 2+2x10 should be 40 (if it does the function + first). It's 22
Try 7+1x10 It gives 17 as the answer.
The calculator update was supposed to allow the user to do multiple functions without having to hit = after every single function. Unfortunately, Apple seemed more interested in making sure third=party apps didn't work that they forgot quality control on the calculator.

Before when I hit the SHIFT key to capitalize a letter, after typing a letter it would revert to lowercase again (the way I would think it should be). Now it remains in a CAPS LOCK type state unless I hit the shift key again.
