I just use the weather app on the iPhone 6 that I use. Then you can go to Weather channel by touching the the icon.

After reading this thread I decided to look for a radar app. I downloaded MyRadar, the free one, from the app store based on reviews. Seems like a good one so far.

For accuracy and local focus, Weather Underground. Unlike some others, though, I really don't like the interface -- there are ways it could be streamlined without giving up information, and the combination temperature/precipitation graph -- while usable once you get used to it -- makes no sense when you think about it. If they spent a bit more time thinking through the presentation of their (excellent) weather data, that one would be an easy winner. As is, it's a narrow winner (for me).

Yeah, being from FL you need a true radar haha it's worth the $1.99 for sure.

exactly. random rain throughout the day, like the past few days. where it could be raining where you are, then you go half a mile and its fine.

I use Living Earth. A 3D Earth with sunlight, temperature map, cloud map, wind map, humidity map, weather forecast, etc.

Is anything better than this?

Thanks. Hadn't heard of that one. Nice looking & uses WeatherUnderground's data.

I love and use the weather widgets a lot nowadays and almost never use the apps themselves.
I have three weather widgets at this moment but I'm deciding between BeWeather2 and weather widget though. Both haven't been updated yet to iOS10 widget style though but they both offer so much options for the widget to (de)select. Unfortunately neither of them are able to show the minute by minute rain for the Netherlands. BeWeather2 can but not in NL unfortunately so I use a Dutch widget (Buienalarm) instead.
